DESCRIPTION
This new paper gives an overview of the key benefits to work with Asian IT providers. It can be interesting for CIO, IT managers, web, mobile or digital professionals who are evaluating the opportunity to outsource some of their IT support or app development in low-cost countries. As usual in those Eurosia Insights, we do not pretend answering it all (the presentations are meant to be walked through in less than 30 secs ;)) but give a snapshot and some food for thoughts to CIOs, IT Directors and Managers, especially the ones of small to mid-sized companies. What do you think about those benefits? Do you have a some 'war stories' of your own to share?TRANSCRIPT

Industry: TrafWic control and management Location: Brussels, Belgium Business Challenge: The city authorities and local police needed easy-‐to-‐use tools to monitor and analyze trafWic data collected in real-‐time. How Eurosia Helped: a dedicated team of 3 software developers at Eurosia’s center at the Technopark of Trivandrum (India) ensured the coding and testing support of speciWic modules of the trafWic management software of its Belgian client. The engineers helped creating an application that provides access to a digital, detailed map representing trafWic events, a digital archive to store trafWic data, an interface for reviewing event history, and an action plan interface on standard procedures (2 modules, ~1,000 man-‐hours, ~60% cost advantage)
