The Portuguese Federation of Sportive Fishing has the

honour of inviting the representative team of your

country to take part in the 65th Coarse Angling World

Championship for Nations, that will be held on 08 and

09 of September in Montemor-o-Velho – Portugal.

Portugal is, as you may know, a warm and welcoming

country and a place where sportive fishing is a sport of

choice for thousands of Portuguese people, people who devote to this event and feel an

enormous pride and gratitude for your attendance.

Angling World Championship for Nations.

The High Yield Centre, most commonly accustomed

to received other modalities, it’s now aggrandized

with the organization of this International

Championship, which is going to forecast Montemor-o-Velho in our country but also in

the world.

We hope that the competitors and visitors enjoy our county and enjoy the track we

prepared. I hope that you take the message that this a unique and welcoming space,

with odd characteristics to the practice of competitive sportive fishing.

The High Yield Centre of Montemor-o-Velho

The High Yield Centre of Montemor-o-Velho is the venue chosen to receive the 65th

Coarse Angling World Championship for Nations, projected to accommodate the

modalities of canoeing, swimming, rowing, triathlon and sportive fishing.

This centre falls within the scope of the development of the sportive high yield at a

national level, by creating unique infrastructures, benefiting from the conditions of the

Low Mondego, reveal in an excellency space for the training and competition at an

international level. This pattern of quality is a primordial focus of the attraction of

athletes and adepts, promoting the region as a touristic destination throughout the year.

The water plan has an extension of 2000 meters, 135 meters of width and the depth of

approximately 3,5 meters.
