Dr Reddy's Laboratories Ltd has launched Docetaxel injection, a therapeutic equivalent of Taxotere, in the USmarket. The brand and generic had a sales of $ 218 million in the US for the most recent 12 months.
VA Tech WABAG has bagged an order from Maynilad Water Services, Philippines for construction of 20 MLDSewage Treatment Plant (STP) at Tunasan. The project is funded by World Bank and the order value is approxi-mately Rs 100 crore. After designing and building the plant, WABAG will operate and maintain the plant for aperiod of one year as part of the contract.
Bharti Airtel has sold its 4,800 mobile towers in Nigeria to US-based American Tower Corp for about $1.05 bn
in a move to pare debt. Airtel will be the anchor tenant on the portfolio under a lease with a ten-year initialterm. The agreement has been signed between Bharti Airtel subsidiary, Bharti Airtel International (Netherlands)BV (Airtel) and ATC. At the end of September 2014, Airtel had a consolidated debt of Rs 62,215.8 cr.
Jindal Steel and Power Ltd has shelved a $10 billion coal-to-diesel project, becoming the first big casualty of aSupreme Court decision to scrap coalfields allocated to private firms since 1993. Jindal Steel's 1.5 billion tonnecoalfield in Odisha was among 214 cancelled by the Supreme Court in September, when it ruled the practice ofselective allocation was illegal and arbitrary.

Amtek Auto has posted a net profit of Rs. 743.70 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 as com-
pared to Rs. 523.10 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2013. Total Income has increased from Rs.7839.50 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2013 to Rs. 10421.60 million for the quarter ended Septem-ber 30, 2014. It will acquire two Europe-based and one South East Asia-based auto as well as non-auto compo-nent makers through its Singapore-based wholly owned subsidiary.
The Centre has finalised the broad outline for appointing a new super-regulator governing telecom, information technology and broad-cast through a new Bill. The Communication Bill will repeal four existing Acts, including the Indian Telegraph Act 1885 and the TelecomRegulatory Authority of India Act 1997. The new regulator will be given wider powers, including spectrum management. The tenure will
be increased from three to five years. But the Government plans to insert a clause in the proposed Bill that will give it powers to overrulethe regulator at any time.
Sales of residential property in the countrys key cities dropped 21% year-on-year in the three months to September, showing consum-ers continue to shy away from buying homes. In the September quarter, prices rose just 5% y-o-y, a fairly sharp deceleration from the12-16% y-o-y seen between Q2FY12 and Q4FY13. Indeed, the NHB Residex for Q1FY15 shows a significant deceleration in prices withthe average unweighted price increase of just 2.9% y-o-y across 26 cities.

Nifty Overview
MARKET TECHNICALS
We expect Nifty to trade between 8480-8580. Nifty could lead towards 8550 spot.
SENSEX AND NIFTY INTRADAY
Indian benchmark indices rose to all time high buoyed by a rally in global markets andexpectations of more reforms from the government. Sensex was up 164.9 points or0.6% at 28499.5, while Nifty was up 52.8 points or 0.6% at 8530.2.
U.S. stocks remained firm as investors remained confident that stimulus measures fromglobal central banks will help spur economic growth. DJIA was up 7.8 points or 0.0% at17817.9.
In Asia, markets are trading mixed as momentum cooled from the previous session'sChina-inspired rally, while oil was in focus ahead of this week's OPEC meeting. Nikkei225 is trading up 66.6 points or 0.4% at 17424.1, while Hang Seng is trading up 2.1points or 0.0% at 23895.2.
Indian rupee weakened to close at 61.9325 against USD.
