Happy Birthday to our Pastor, Fr. Josh Waltz! Thank you for your

dedication to the Church of St. Joseph, St. Joseph Catholic Montessori

School, and the School of the Holy Family! We are blessed to have you here to lead us and to guide us!

Are you a Snowbird We know many of our parishioners like to spend the winter in warmer climates and we rejoice

with you, but we still count on your faithful commitment to St. Joseph Church in remembering us in your prayers and financial support. So while you are away, please stay connected to your home parish by updating us with your temporary mailing address, consider signing up for ACH donations or Online Giving to allow you to make regular electronic contributions. Keep up with parish news and events by reading our parish bulletins on our website: www.stjosephmandan.com. Let us know if you or a family member needs prayers. Enjoy your time away and we look forward to your return! Contact the parish office if you have any questions.

    Happenings

Live-Streaming of Matt Fradd Matt Fradd, a nationally known speaker, is coming to the people of the Diocese of Bismarck virtually, via a livestream event. This talk will be offered for parents, grandparents, future parents and any adults interested in the topic of safeguarding our internet generation. The livestream will be available on Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. Matt Fradd will take a detailed look at the way pornography harms us and offer practical strategies that adults and parents can implement to protect children from the lies of an over-sexualized culture. The link to the livestream will be available on the Diocese of Bismarck social media channels and website prior to the event.

    - 40 Hours of Devotion at Cathedral As part of the celebration of the its 75th anniversary, the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit will have a 40 Hours Devotion on November 20, 21, and 22, a special 40-hour period of continuous prayer made before the Blessed Sacrament in solemn exposition. Of course, the focus of this devotion is on the Holy Eucharist. It gives us time to deepen our appreciation of the importance of the mystery of the Eucharist in our lives. The event includes Eucharistic Adoration in the main church, Masses, confessions, and Fr. Brian Gross will lead a parish mission with a series of homilies on the Eucharist. All are welcome to attend as much of the 40 Hours as their schedule permits. Adoration during this event is open to everyone in the Diocese of Bismarck. At least two adorers are needed for each hour during the three-day period. Go to cathedralparish.com for a full schedule and to sign up for adoration or call the parish office at 223-1033. This is a great time to give thanks for all of our blessings and to prepare our hearts for Advent.
