• There are numerous offline instructor-led conferences.
• You can also include customized training which caters to
your company’s specific set of needs and requirements.

# 3 Review Training Materials Ahead Of Time
• Good training courses explain how to perform a task.
• But more importantly they explain WHY it’s important to
perform the task.
- If training doesn’t tell the why, then it’s inadequate!
• You can’t just tell users what buttons to push, instead you
have to tell them why they’re doing it.
- Developing good training material takes time!

• Ensure people understand the ramifications of what they’re
doing and how mistakes can impact others.
• Best practice says your students should have access to
SAP sandboxes so they don’t play in a production system.
- Be weary of too much PowerPoint
- Provide simulated hands-on material
- Incorporate “what-if” scenarios
- Include gamification to make learning stick

• Training is a process w/ a defined
beginning and it never ends.
• Cannot provide training once to your
students and then “wash your hands”
of innocence when things go wrong.
