Students will create Environmental Awareness tee-shirts in order to demonstrate application of Emphasis and acrylic painting techniques.

Daily Objective (day 1)•Students will listen to Michael Jackson’s, “Man in the Mirror” while

looking in a mirror at themselves to discover who they really are and what kind of positive changes they can make in the world.

•Through using http://www.brainpop.com/ (Humans and the Environment) , Active Votes, and visuals, students will discuss and

then analyze how to create an environmental theme on their tee-shirts using emphasis.

Production BenchmarkToday-Students will create a list and begin sketches of environmental

themes for their tee-shirts.
