With so many beauful Christ- mas carols wrien about the birth of our Savior, come join us as a Homewood family as we sing together at Hope Creek Soup & Sandwiches Family acvies Christmas Carols & Bible Study in the Sanctuary 1/2 hour of caroling at Hope Creek. This is a great opportunity for kids of all ages (0-99+) to give joy to others rather than expecng to get something themselves. The choir, tech team and actors are working hard on the presentaon for December 17 at both services. Please mark your calendar and plan to aend and bring family, friends and neighbors. "What Child Is This" by Joel Raney will give a li to your Christmas season with joyous songs and an in- sight into the true impact of the birth of that lile baby so many years ago. The Parents and Families SS class, which meets in room F1 of the Family Life Center, is starting a new study on November 19th titled "The Case For Christ" by Lee Strobel and Gary Poole. The study includes 6 video sessions about 15 minutes in length followed by class discussion using the related study guide book: 1. The investigation of a lifetime. 2. Eyewitness evidence. 3. Evidence outside the Bible. 4. Analyzing Jesus. 5. Evidence for the resurrection. 6. Reaching your "verdict". The purpose of the class is to examine the reasons skeptics dismiss the Jesus of the gospels and to improve our understanding of the truth about Jesus and the compelling evidence supporting faith in Him. in December…See you NEXT Year! The packing of care boxes for our college students continues even though 50+ is not meeting this month. Please bring any items you would like to donate to the college students to Karen Mowers' office by Nov. 19 so that this program can bless the students before finals in December. They would enjoy homemade treats, snacks, hygiene items, school supplies or anything to help them get through the end of the semester. All church members are welcome to donate to this project each month even if you do not attend. 50+.
