Corporate Membership Flexibility: The corporate designation allows the member on the prepaid meal plan to invite an executive from their company or organization to attend the Wednesday lunch in their place when unable to attend. No advance notice is required. Upon arrival, the designee checks in at the Rotary “badge table” to pick up the company’s blue colored “Corporate Badge”. The badge is scanned to record attendance in the member’s record.
Application: The application for membership is submitted on behalf of the individual, with the designation “corporate” as the category of membership.
Associated Costs: A Seattle Rotary Corporate Membership has an additional initiation fee, currently $300. Existing Seattle Rotary members desiring to convert to a corporate membership must pay the additional fee at the time of changing.
Young Rotary Leadership Membership The Young Rotary Leaders membership program is for those 35 and under who strive to become leaders in our community, business, Rotary, our city, state, or country in the years ahead.
Qualifications are:
Candidates have to meet all of the qualifications of Rotary membership. The Classification Committee will be flexible on the desire that a candidate be engaged as a proprietor, partner, corporate officer, or manager of any worthy and recognized business or profession.
Candidates will have demonstrated leadership in their profession or through community service, in addition to the significance of the business that they are responsible for within their firm. They also will need to demonstrate that they have the time and financial support to be a Rotarian.
“Young Rotary Leaders” would be 35 years of age or younger when they submit their application to the Rotary office, and be nominated by a member of the Rotary Club of Seattle, and would remain in the program for a period not to exceed 5 years, at which time membership will transition to that of “regular” membership status. Young Rotary Leaders pay reduced fees while in the YRL program (see “financial obligations for details).
