Eucharistic Miracles of the World

The Vatican International Exhibition comes to Sacred Heart March 13 & 14. It faithfully recounts for us many well documented Eucharistic miracles approved by the Catholic Church as truly worthy of belief. Knowledge of these miracles strengthens

our faith in Jesus Christ’s Real Presence in the Holy Eucharist. The Exhibit was created by Blessed Carlo Acutis, a 15 year old from Milan, Italy who was Beatified October 10, 2020. Learn more about him at this link: https://player.vimeo.com/video/445864382 The panels are in English and Spanish. Sat., March 13, 9am-5pm; Sunday, March 14, following Mass (11:15am – 4pm) Begin in the social hall, end upin the church for silent adoration.

Zoom discussion on racial bias and racial justice Everyone is invited to discuss this timely and

important topic Wednesday, March 18, 6:30-8 pm. Please sign up at https://shpullman.flocknote.com/signup/44000 You will receive a Zoom link by March 17.

We will watch an excerpt from Fr. Bryan Massingale’s 2014 talk: Unconscious Racial Bias and the Challenge of Solidarity: Catholic Social Teaching Post Travon Martin (and Michael Brown and …). We will also discuss some points from his book, Racial Justice and the Catholic Church, specifically points from Chapter 3 “Toward a More Catholic Engagement”. The event is hosted by Sacred Heart Parish’s Social Justice Ministry.

Mark your calendar for March 19, the Feast of St. Joseph. In honor of the Year of St. Joseph, we will have a shrine outside at the church with recorded music and prayers, and a holy card for you to take home. You are asked to bring a can of food to leave at the shrine. It will be donated to the food bank.

Drought has become a big problem across El Salvador, making it difficult for farmers to produce enough crops to support their families. But new farming techniques—and a new generation of young farmers—are making a difference. What would you do if your livelihood was threatened? How can you support young people in your community and around the world? Visit crsricebowl.org to learn more.
