Christians in Iraq need your help: Before the Iraq War began in 2003, Christians in Iraq numbered about one million out of a population of 25 million. In September 2014, an estimated 300,000 Christians remained. Since then, the Knights of Columbus have raised more than $10.5 million for relief, assisting Christians and other internally displaced persons and refugees in Iraq and the region. The Pullman council of the Knights of Columbus is joining this effort and collecting donations for the resettlement of Karamles (a predominantly Christian town that was destroyed by ISIS) and other such communities, and invites parishioners of Sacred Heart to join with us. The weekend of January 27 & 28 there will be a second collection for this cause. Please make checks payable to “KofC Council 7360” and note “Refugee Relief” on the memo line. 100% of your donation goes to refugee relief. See the Columbian magazine article Knights to Save Destroyed Town (www.kofc.org/en/news/releases/knights-to-save-destroyed-town.html) for info.

Thank you for your donations to the Palouse Food Pantry the last weekend of each month. They greatly appreciate the 85 pounds of food received so far.
