1. PAPERMost basic to-do listPen and paperUse margin to indicate urgency and priorityTo protect against loss, take photo on phone each day
Downside: Difficult to update without rewritingLoss can be devastating
2. SPREADSHEETSome firms restrict cloud-based appsUsing a spreadsheet for a to-do list lets you sort easilySpreadsheets can also be updated with minimal effortInclude deadlines and priority status
Downside:Difficult to shareNot visually appealing
3. APPs (ToDoist/Wunderlist)Easy interfaceSyncs across platformsCloud-based but also desktop applicationCan share projects with othersVisually appealing
I use ToDoist and love it! No downside unless you are not tech-oriented.
4. NOTEBOOKSome paper users like notebooks for both notes and tasksBetter to limit to just to-do itemsTake notebook everywhere so everything is in one place
DownsideLoss is devastatingSheer volume can be overwhelmingDifficult flipping back and forth to find tasks
My least favorite option if you use it, please let me know what I am missing!
