The photographer needs to know about some basic responsibilities and guidelines to be a great 4-H Club Photographer.3Responsibilities of the PhotographerKnow deadline for submitting stories and pictures to county newspapers.Keep a list of names, addresses, and phone numbers of news editors in county.

Some responsibilities of the Photographer are knowing the deadline for submitting stories and pictures to the county newspapers. It is important for the photographer to know the names, addresses, and phone numbers of news editors in the county. 4Guidelines for PhotographersUnderstand how to operate the camera you are using.Always carry fresh batteries or make sure your camera battery is charged.Know where and how the film is processed or digital files are saved.Know where and how to print photos Send pictures to Club Reporter to add to news stories.

Some additional guidelines for the Photographer are:Understand how to operate the camera you are using. Make sure the camera is ready to use. Carry fresh batteries with you or make sure that the camera batteries are charged. Know where and how you will save and print the photos. As club photographer, it is your responsibility to send any pictures to the club reporter to add to news stories about the club. 5Guidelines for PhotographersWork with clubs Historian to provide pictures for Historian book.Always consider photo possibilities for the group.Keep track of names of people in pictures.Make sure names are spelled correctly.

The photographer should also work with the Historian to provide pictures for the clubs historian book. The photographer and historian should decide what group and individual pictures will be needed throughout the year.
