Dear friends, todaywe will talk about someuseful finishing touches in
processing images orgraphics using
Photoshop.
Let’s take the imageof our friend Faris and the
Falcon Shahin as an example. On the Layers Tab, there arebuttons at the bottom. Left to
it, you can see the letter“F” inside a circle.
When you click it,several options appear, including “Shadows” and
“Stroke” Options. We canchoose the “Shadow Color” we
want among a variety of“Color Palettes”, asshown in the figure.
The secondoption would
“Emboss” the imageand add “lighting”
to it.
In the next ses-sion, we will review
the remainingoptions.
The third optioncan “send” the shad-
ow to the inner part ofthe image as you
can see.

One day the “Squirrel” went out with one of thetrainees, but did not fix up the “Training Sign” on
the vehicle.
But unfortunately, one of the trainers the “Squirrel”was irresponsible and uncommitted to the laws
despite being alerted by Uncle Banda more than once.

First Traffic Signal Lights were Powered by Gas
Today, my friends, we will learnabout the basic traffic signs that wesee in the street. They are the colorsof three traffic lights signals: red, orange and green. Our journey startsfrom the beginning of last century, when the English Engineer (G B.Knight) invented the first traffic signal. It consisted of two lamps, poweredby gas, one was red and the otherwas green in order to regulate themovement of trains so that they donot collide with each other when passing from the same place. But the signal didnot last for long. It exploded suddenly and killed the policeman who wascontrolling it. In 1914 that invention was developed to show three different colors:red, orange and green in the city of Cleveland, U.S.A. In 1918, the first traffic lightappeared in New York City. The first traffic signal appeared in Dubai in FahaidiStreet in 1971. Then in 2009 the number of intersections controlled by traffic lightsignals reached 370 in Dubai. Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai oversees
the operation of these traffic signals through the controlcenters, which control the length of time allotted for each
signal according to density and vehicular traffic at everyintersection or street. Salama Friends know very well what traffic signalcolors mean: the red color means stop, the greencolor means move, and the orange color means beready to stop, but what about the flashing green light? In July 2007, Roads and Transport Authority startedthe application of the flashing green light on trafficsignal lights in Dubai, which helps drivers stop on time.
