    From the present stage of life up to the age of 70 years what leadership roles you aspire

    to achieve? Evaluate your strengths, weaknesses( if any),your perceptions of opportunities

    and threats. What additional skills, expertise you wish to gain?

    From the present stage up to the age of 70 years what leadership roles you aspire to achieve:

    Leadership roles I aspire to achieve:

    Till 30 years:

    Lead a team of employees to create successful products. Mentor the team members to become high performers. Motivate the team members to achieve their individual as well organization goals.

    From 30-35 years

    From the lead roles move to the management roles and then senior management roles. Aligning myself with the big organizational goals and help achieving the organization by

    delivering successful projects and products to the end-customers.

    Cultivating future managers/leaders from the individual team members I am working with, whowill follow me and fill in my shoes.

    From 35-40 years

    Enter into the top management of an organization. Bringing projects, venturing into new areas for the organizations.

    From 40-45 years

    To be the CEO or at the top position of an organization. Make the organization achieve new milestones

    From 45-50 years:

    To lead organizations into successful enterprises. Pursue and start identifying some venture from the experience gained.

    From 50-55 years:

    Open my own organization and lead the organization. Invest all the time into growing the organization.

    From 55-60 years:

    Turn the venture into a success story and look for heirs.

    From 60-70 years:

    Develop future leaders. Become a consultant for large set of organizations. Assist the venture invested in to achieve new heights and be a guide for the heir of the venture

    to become a successful leader.

    SWOT:

    Strengths

    Good listening skills and problem definition. Collecting up data, facts; good analysis of the problem and decision making skills,

    providing solutions.

    Change agent and loves challenges. Efficiently and responsibly conducted various different roles. Passion and an excellent learning curve. Effective communication with distributed teams in culture, time zones, and native

    language.

    Weakness

    No current relations or communication channels with Beta Customers. Currently not working in any leadership roles. Knowledge of requirement elicitation and management tools like UML, Doors and JAZZ. Very fast in communication. Weak listening skills. Sometimes forces my own perspectives on others.

    Opportunities

    Working and interacting more closely with distributed teams separated by geography,time-zones, culture and native language.

    Getting closer to beta customers and product understanding.

    Bringing Product ownership tasks to Pune location and a lot of domain knowledge. Product contact for Pune development team. After completing Ex MBA a whole new set of opportunities and new areas to progress

    in.

    Growing demands for smart leaders

    Threats

    Absence of beta and customer sites near Pune location currently. Domain expertise and product ownership is negligent in Pune location. Acceptance of an off-shore requirement analyst.

    Additional Skills and expertise I want to gain:

    Completing my Executive MBA with good grades. Go for PMP (Project management) certification. Complete Business Analyst Certification (CBAP) Complete CFA Level 1, 2 and 3 certification. Go for higher education in LAW (MBL) maybe Master in Business Law Go for doctorate program: PhD and file few patents.
