II-4 GATT vs.WTO: Main Difference

GATT WTO

A series of new agreements were adopted during the Tokyo Round on a plurilateral,selective basis, causing a fragmentation of the multilateral trading system.

The agreements are all multilateral, which have been adopted and accepted by its member as a single undertaking.

2.Has specific time limits and is therefore faster than the GATT system;

3. Has a permanent AB to review findings by DSP

4. A more detailed rules on implementation of findings
