Our Story

2Plus2 Partners, Inc. has been serving the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond with exceptional strategic consulting since 1995. We are a woman-owned and operated California corporation offering web development, business analysis, SharePoint, and presentation design services to diverse industries and organizations alike. With a solid reputation and proven track record of success, we are a valuable member of your team, providing expert-level professionalism with a personal touch. We take pride in the long-term relationships we have with our clients and would be happy to have you talk to them for yourselves.

It all started 18 years ago when two sisters opened up shop in an extra room in Cathy’s house. In those days, we were eager, willing, and most of all, green. It was 1995; our timing was good and we did well as budding entrepreneurs with the company tripling in size in the first five years. We stayed focused on quality products, high-touch service and carefully cultivated client relationships, many of which we still enjoy today.

With growth came change and in 2001 we split our design and technical consulting services. However, as timing and opportunity converged again, the sisters reunited in January 2008. Through it all, we have remained consistent, professional, and quality-minded all with a team-orientation. We do our best and take enormous pride in our work. We still place a premium on relationships and gauge our success on our client’s success.

Cathy Dew, President

An expert in information systems design and development, Cathy’s strength is in analysis, information organization, and interaction design. An architect, artist, and problem solver, Cathy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and Master of Science in Computer Information Systems, from the University of Florida. As President of 2Plus2 Partners, Cathy focuses the company on three strategic service lines – information design, business analysis, and web application development. Building on recent success with clients such as Enlighted, CooperVision and the University of California Berkeley, Cathy heads up analytic design and consulting services for 2Plus2 Partners. Anthony Baratta, Chief Technology Officer

Anthony brings 15 years of computer experience including network design, systems integration and administration, as well as Internet programming – front and back-end. He prides himself on understanding how the myriad parts of the Internet work together. For 2Plus2, stitching these parts together into a complete client solution is Anthony’s focus. Fluent in technology, Anthony breaks down complex problems into scalable solutions and manageable automated tasks. In his spare time, Anthony is the Director of Coaching for Alternativo Futbol Club in Tracy. During his tenure, the club has grown from 3 to 14 teams and is now the largest competitive soccer club in Tracy with 175 players. Email Tony

Sally Dew, Creative Director

With extensive experience in concept visualization and typography, Sally’s strength is in the details. With strong knowledge of user experience methods, prototyping, design frameworks and color theory, Sally provides creative direction for all projects. She keeps the team on track while continually striving for the optimal and most intuitive experience possible. With a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, her attention to message and media guarantees expressive and compelling design that is documented and preserved in style guides and interaction specifications. Ruth Schleifer, Business Analyst

Drawing from years of experience and passion for her work, Ruth is a remarkable account manager and team lead. She takes the time to understand every client's objectives and insightfully leads her design team to each project's completion and each client’s satisfaction. Being on hand to ensure a smooth and successful implementation process is just one of Ruth’s many strengths. Following up with expert training and support is another. Joe Lam, Web Developer

With more than 13 years of experience in application, web and database development, Joe brings a unique and well-rounded skill set to the team. He is always willing to do a byte more and not a bit less to bring our projects to a successful implementation. In Joe's world of love for the binary digits, it is either a zero or a one and nothing in between. Joe is Kentico CMS Certified Developer and is technical architect for all culture and localization efforts. Email Joe





Jasmine Lacebal, Web Developer

Jasmine is our lead front-end developer with strong technical knowledge and problem solving skills. With her commitment to staying in front of web programming technologies, she expertly develops and enhances the aesthetics and functionality of our websites and online application projects. A graduate from the University of Oregon, Jasmine holds a B.S. in Computer & Information Sciences, with a special focus in Computational Arts & Multimedia. She is a Kentico CMS Certified Developer as well as well versed in SharePoint and other asp.net CMS tools. Doug Perine, UI Web Developer

With 18 years of experience in graphic design and web development, Doug has a finely honed visual sense. His skills include graphic identity development as well as wire framing and HTML development for online apps. Recent experience includes the transformation of a comprehensive Learning Management System for a K-12 online application. His strong production skills along with his tenacity for getting it right and his ever-growing toolset make Doug a key member of our versatile team. Email Doug
