REACH has been adopted to improve the protection of human health and the environment. As a non EU company, you have no further legal obligations but your EU customer does and thus, you need to support if your export will continue.

The Chinese talent for mimicry will be discussed using current titanate-based ACS CAS Abstracts by Chinese vinyl compounders.

From the conflation of hazard with risk, perceived risk has driven NGO action, spearheading new regulations and big box store chemical deselection announcements for consumer-facing products. This change in select flexible vinyl segments is pulling with it the expectation of change in other plasticized products resulting in a dramatic shift in the US plasticizer market.

As we prepare to gather in Denver, EPA is working to finalize rules under the amended Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). Will a supplemental rule be proposed to define and increase transparency with “pre-prioritization”? What will be the basis for decisions on risk? Meanwhile, concerns remain with getting new chemicals to market, new fees remain to be set, and TSCA Inventory reporting requirements are to be finalized. We’ll discuss relevant progress, impacts, advocacy and opportunities to engage.
