25Live Event - Training Manual
Step 1: Go to 25Live (25live.collegenet.com/fiu) and click Sign In.
Step 2: Login with your MyAccounts credentials.
Step 3: Click on the Create an Event button.
Step 4: Fill out the Event Name and Contact Name, Phone and Department fields. Make sure to
include the full phone number and department name.
Step 5: Choose an event type by selecting an option from the dropdown menu or typing a
custom type in the search box.
Step 6: Choose a “Primary Organization.” Click browse to view list of primary organizations.
Step 7: Click Save, then click Next at the bottom of the page.
Step 8: Indicate approximate number of attendees. This will ensure that spaces with the specific
capacity or above are looked at for availability.
Step 9: OPTIONAL. Write a brief description for the event. Then click Save, followed by Next.
Step 10: Choose if the event is a single or repeating occurrence. Then click Save, followed by
Next.
Step 11: (Skip step if multiple occurrences.) Indicate event start time and end time if the event is
a single occurrence. If setup time or takedown time is needed, please select the appropriate Yes
radio buttons and indicate amount of time required. Then click Save, followed by Next.
Step 12: (Skip step if single occurrence.): Indicate event start and end times if the event has
multiple occurrences. If setup time or takedown time is needed, please select the appropriate Yes
radio buttons and indicate amount of time required. Then, choose how this event repeats. Finally,
click Save, followed by Next.
Step 13: Find and select the event location. If you are looking for a specific location, you may
search for that space. If no specific location is required, choose a search based on
campus/building preference. If you are looking for a space with specific features click on
Advanced Search.
Step 14: Under the “Select the CATEGORIES for this event” heading, select the “Popular
University Events” box if you would like this event advertised on the OCM website. Then click
Save, followed by Next.
Step 15: OPTIONAL. Add any additional information or comments about the event.
Step 16: Select the “I Agree” checkbox to agree to the rules and regulations; then click Save.
Step 17: You will see a confirmation page as shown below.
