Requirements and Course Load

The interim is an i n t e g r a l p a r t of the col lege year. While a s tudent i s not required t o e n r o l l i n an in ter im, he/she pays t u i t i o n f o r an in ter im during each year he/she is enrol led fu l l - t ime a t Augsburg. Class Meetings

An in ter im course should make the same time demands upon t h e student a s a standard semester course. The number and length of c l a s s meetings i s not r i g i d l y f ixed. Students, however, should plan f o r in-c lass pa r t - i c ipa t ion of about t e n hours per week. In addi t ion , the re w i l l be l abs , f i e l d study, t r a v e l , readings, r epor t s , and papers.
