Shree S. K. Patel College of Pharmaceutical Education and Research was established in the year 1996 as the first self

-financed degree Pharmacy college in the North Gujarat region imparting degree Pharmacy course. The college is ap-

proved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). It is a constituent col-

lege of Ganpat University offering B. Pharm., M. Pharm. and Ph. D. courses. The college is an institutional member of

Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE). The head-office of the Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA), Mehsana

Branch is also located at the college. The college has achieved the distinction of being the FIRST ACCREDITED PHAR-

MACY COLLEGE in the Gujarat state by NBA-AICTE.

SOCIETY OF PHARMACOGNOSY

Society of Pharmacognosy is a national body of Pharmacy Professionals not only belonging to the stream of Pharma-

cognosy, but all the other disciplines in function till date. The quality of services being delivered in succession by the

society could be assessed by the fact that it has members not only from India but from all round the globe. Every year,

society organizes a customary annual national convention and once in four year international conference to compile the

thoughts of scientists and academicians engaged in pharmacognosy research.
