FAWQC’s Environmental Education Grants

In order to truly protect our state’s water resources over the long term, we must engage and inspire the future generations. In 2004, FAWQC established the Environmental Education (E2) Grant Fund to promote environmental education. The E2 Fund offers research grants to Florida students and rewards promising projects at county and state science fairs. Proceeds from our annual conference are the major source of our E2 Fund. Over the past 15 years, FAWQC has written over $120,000 in E2 grants to schools across the state and awarded over $7,000 to participants at the State Science Fair.
