Welcome Exhibitors, Trainers, and Sponsors;

It is my pleasure to welcome you to YOUR new Ocala horse show. A brand new “exhibitor focused” horse show dedicated to serving YOU, the exhibitor.

You will enjoy two weeks of horse showing at the beautiful Florida Horse Park. Our team of professionals have gone over every detail for the first new “A” Show in Ocala in more than a decade! Our plan for the Florida Horse Park Winter Classic is to bring in top judges, course designers, and staff to give you the best possible showing experience. Our goal is simple; create a friendly exhibitor friendly show, with competitive pricing, with the best possible footing.

The Florida Horse Park is a 500 acre competition facility with four state of the art Martin Collins Fiber Footing, with an ebb and flow irrigation and drainage system. In addition to the Martin Collins arenas, there is a 400 x 500 manicured grass derby field that will host all of our hunter derbies including the $5,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby the second week of the show.

Along with the Horse Parks fabulous rings, it is also able to offer on site camping, with RV hooks, spacious paddocks, and 320 11x 11 permanent stalls. The Winter Classic will feature plenty of food vendors, tack shops and an on-site bar that will over look the Grand Prix ring. Our VIP and table patrons will dine on the local taste of Ocala’s finest restaurants each week during the Grand Prix. Tables can be purchased from your entry blank or by becoming a sponsor and supporting the show.

For 2020 we are offering a full schedule of Hunter and Jumper classes ranging from cross rails to the Grand Prix. We will be affordable classes for all levels of riders and horses, including our very anticipated $5,6,7 Young Jumper Classes with NO SHIP IN FEE. We understand it can be expensive for trainers to get young horses to the ring, and hope this will help develop a much needed market for young jumpers in the Ocala area. The Winter Classic will also feature two $3,500 Eventing Prixs (1.20m), dedicated solely to our friends in the eventing world! In order to show in these classes you must be an active member in the United States Eventing Association. The FHP Winter Classic truly does have a class for everyone!

Above all, we hope that you have a fantastic time showing with us at the Florida Horse Park. Our goal is to have a great horse show, where YOU are the focus!

Good luck to all our exhibitors!
