PARK ENTRANCE FEES
Vehicles must display a valid park entrance permit year-round.

Purchase of annual vehicle entrance permit is available online at www.parkrec.nd.gov, at the North Dakota Parks & Recreation Department Bismarck Office, through the Call Center at 800-807-4723 or at any state park.
Senior Discount: ND residents age 65 and older are eligible to purchase an annual entrance permit for $28. Not available for purchase online.
Disabled Veterans and POWs: ND veterans with a 50 percent or greater service-related disability and former POWs are eligible for a free annual lifetime pass. All other ND veterans with service-related disabilities may purchase an annual permit for $28. Requires a current VA proof of disability or ND DAV/POW license plates.
Library Loan Program: A daily park pass can be checked out by library card holders for no charge at most North Dakota public libraries.
CAMPING FEES
Camping fees do not include entrance fees. A daily or annual permit is required in addition to the fees listed below.
The full-service season runs from mid-May to mid or late-September. Limited services are available in the off-season. Little Missouri and Sully Creek State Parks are only open seasonally.

MARINA FEES
Marina slips are available at Fort Stevenson, Lewis and Clark and Lake Sakakawea State Parks, all are managed by the North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department. A $200 deposit is required by October 15th to hold a requested slip, and the balance is due by May 1. Slip pricing is listed below:

RESERVATIONS

100% campsite and cabin reservations are available in all state parks
• Reservations for cabins, yurts, shelters can be made up to 365 days in advance online or through the call center.
• Reservations for dorms and group or meeting facilities can be made up to 365 days in advance by calling the park directly.
• Reservations for campsites, horse campsites/corrals, and tipis can be made within 95 days of the date of arrival. Stays are limited to 14 nights within any 30-day period. Stays may be limited to 3 days when the campsite is not being used for recreation purposes.
• To help determine the 95-day window for reservations, a calendar including all dates for the 2020 season can be found online at www.parkrec.nd.gov/stay/camping
• Online reservations can be made 24/7 with exception of the first day of the 95-day window; These reservations will be available at 7 a.m. Central Time.
• Reservations for cabins, yurts, and tipis can be made until noon the day before arrival. Campsites reservations can be made up to the minute of arrival.
• Payment in full is required to confirm reservations. Reservation change and cancel fees apply. The reservation fee is non-refundable (see fee schedule which follows). NDPRD accepts Discover, Visa and MasterCard credit cards.
• Call Center reservations are limited to five resources during one phone call. For large group gathering, when 10 or more adjacent campsites are desired, call the park directly.
• On holidays and weekends, a 2- or 3-night cabin, yurt, or tipi may be required.
• Campsite check-in is after 4 p.m. and check-out is by 3 p.m. Full service cabin/yurt check-in is after 4 p.m. and check-out is 12 p.m. Camping cabin/tipi check-in is after 4 p.m. and check out is 12 p.m.

SEASONAL LODGING
Camping Cabins: small one-room cabins are available during the full-service season at the state parks listed below. Each cabin can sleep up to five in bunk beds and is equipped with lights, heat, air conditioning, fan and either a deck or patio. No cooking is allowed inside. No showers, sink or toilet. Comfort stations are available for use. Users are responsible for providing bedding and towels. No pets are allowed in cabins. Available at:
Woodland Cabins: There are 12 units available during the full-service season at Turtle River State Park. Ten units sleep up to 6. Two of the 12 units are ADA compliant and sleep up to 3 each. All units equipped with private shower and toilets.
Tipis: Available during the full-service season at Cross Ranch and Fort Abraham Lincoln State Parks. These 18-foot Cheyenne style tipis sleep up to 4. Tipis include cots, a fire ring, and a picnic table. No cooking is allowed inside. Covered Wagon: Available during the full-service season at Fort Ransom State Park. The wagon has a king bed, and a set of twin bunk beds. It also includes a refrigerator, microwave, four barstools around a wagon wheel table and air conditioning.

Primitive Cabins: Arthur A. Link Centennial Cabin is available year-round and sleeps up to 6. No towels or bedding provided. Limited dishes and utensils, a coffee pot and mini fridge, are available. The cabin has two stoves, 1 for wood stove for cooking and 1 gas stove for heating. No running water or indoor toilet. Shower facilities are available year-round at the Visitor Center.
John Colter Cabin is available year-round and sleeps up to 5. It has 2 bedrooms, electric heat, overhead lights and a wood-burning stove. Camp stove and cooking utensils are not provided.

Primitive Yurts: The Bagnel and Ice Glider Yurts are twin yurts located within the main campground at Cross Ranch. These yurts sleep five and have a bunk bed

and a pullout futon. A gas fireplace, kitchen table, and a small refrigerator are located inside the yurts. A vault toilet is located nearby, and shower facilities are available year-round at the visitor center.
Levis yurt is equipped with a wood-burning stove and wood supply sleeps up to 3 people. All include electricity and are equipped with lighting, a refrigerator, table with bench seating, outdoor picnic table and fire ring. No cooking allowed inside. Running water and a vault toilet are located nearby.

Primitive Cabins: Cormorant sleeps 4 and is available year-round. The cabin includes a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and electric heat. There is no running water at the cabin. There is a vault toilet located on site.
Osprey is available year-round and sleeps up to 4. Those staying at this cabin must hike, bike or canoe to it as there is no motorized vehicle access to this cabin. There is a vault toilet, picnic table and fire ring with cooking grate on site. A wood burning stove is located in the cabin. Split wood is available. Two propane lanterns are provided for lighting.

GUIDELINES
Policies governing use of North Dakota State Parks are published in the North Dakota Administrative Code, Chapter 58-02-08. The full text is available at www.parkrec.nd.gov. Failure to obey these rules may result in verbal or written warning, summons and complaint, fine and/or loss of park privileges.
• Additional information about facility policies is available either online or at the park.
• A park can limit the length of stay to 3 nights when a customer is not using a campsite or overnight facility for recreational purposes.
• Must be 18 year of age or older to rent park campsites and facilities.
• Fires must be contained in designated fire rings and attended by an adult at all times. Campfires may be prohibited based on the ND Fire Danger Rating Map.
• Contact park for restrictions on alcohol use and insurance requirements for rental of group facilities or shelters.
Reservations• Reservations for campsites, cabins, tipis, horse
sites, shelters and yurts must be made either through the reservation system (www.travel.parkrecnd.com/) or by calling 1-800-807-4723. Reservations for dorms and group and meeting facilities must be made by calling the park.
• Reservations for cabins, yurts, shelters, and group facilities are accepted 365 days in advance. Reservations for campsites and tipis are accepted 95 days in advance. A credit card is required to make a reservation, and is charged at the time the reservation is made.
• A non-refundable reservation fee is charged regardless of how the reservation is made.
Campsites • Camping allowed on designated campsites
only. One camping unit per campsite allowed (maximum of 6 people or immediate family), unless the site is designated as a group or multiple site.
• Campsite check-ins is after 4 p.m. Check-out by 3 p.m.
• Campsite and cabin occupancy is limited to no more than 14 nights in any 30-day period.
Cabins• Cabin and group facility users are expected to
do general cleaning prior to vacating, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces and collecting and bagging trash.
• On holidays and weekends, a 2-night cabin or yurt stay may be required.
• Full-service cabin/yurt check-in is after 4p.m. Check-out is 12 p.m.
• Cabin/dorm/yurt/tipi visitors must provide bedding, towels and soap.
• No smoking in cabins and facilities.• No cooking inside camping cabins, primitive
yurts and tipis.• No game or fish cleaning in or around cabins
or group facilities. Contact park staff for other arrangements.
• Users must adhere to all park rules and regulations posted in each facility.
Pets• No pets are allowed inside cabins or indoor
facilities. • Pets must be kept on a leash and attended at
all times.• Pet waste must be bagged and disposed of in
an appropriate manner.
