July 4 4th of July Concert at the Gazebo – Town Hall Event Center, 2300 Market Drive, Fleming Island, 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm – Food, drink, kids slide, and live entertainment! Orange Park 4th of July Vehicle Parade – River Road, Kingsley Ave., Plainfield Ave., Orange Park; 9:00 am – Please join the Town of Orange Park as we celebrate Independence Day social-distance style! The parade will leave from BestBet and travel south on River Road turning onto Kingsley Avenue. The parade will cross US17 and continue west, turning right on to Plainfield Avenue. Vehicles will disband at the intersection of Plainfield Avenue and Wells Road. Be sure to stop by Town Hall by July 3rd and pickup your complimentary mini flags to wave as the parade goes by! Freedom 5K – Keystone Heights City Hall, 555 Lawrence Boulevard, Keystone Heights; 8:00 am – Celebrate Independence Day at the Freedom 5K happening in Keystone Heights. The 5k starts and finishes on Lawrence Boulevard in front of City Hall (555 South Lawrence Boulevard, Keystone Heights, FL). This well shaded course winds through the neighborhoods surrounding Keystone Heights Elementary School. The race will be professionally chip timed by Florida Race Day. Registration packets will be available for pick up at City Hall (555 South Lawrence Boulevard, Keystone Heights, FL 32656), July 4th – 6:30-7:30am. All runners and walkers must have a race bib with timing chip to participate in the event. Wheelchairs and strollers are permitted. Bikes, skates, skate shoes, skateboards, and scooters are prohibited. ALL PARTICIPANTS will need to pick up their race bib prior to the race between 6:30am and 7:30am on race day. USA Cycling Amateur Road National Championship – various locations - This championship will feature 500 competitors combined between the boys’ and girls’ divisions, starting as young as 10 years old. There will be a group of elite amateur racers pushing for the professional ranks that will be competing as well.
