Something for Everyone!! 2020 4th Great Galaxie Gathering

The Ford Galaxie Club of America will be gathering in Eureka Springs, Arkansas on September 11th -13th, 2020. We are schedul-ing this event for this year at the same time as the Antique Automobile Festival also in Eureka Springs. If you want to be at a show, you will register with them for the show. You can get the registration from them at: http://www.antique-autofest.com/ As of the time of this posting they haven’t updated the page yet. Check back and I’ll see what I can do about getting them to get it done. If you want to just do the parade they will have a $10 fee for that. If you want to do their poker run you need to contact them for the infor-mation. Wearegoingtomakeeveryeffortpos-sible to make this one huge event with LOTS of Galaxies gathering in Eureka Springs just as the VW’s, Corvettes, Mustangs and BMW’s do every year. We are going to schedule with the Antique Automobile Festival because we realize there are some folks who want to go to a car show. If you’ve never been to one of their events, this will beafirstforyouthatyouwillwanttocomebackto year after year. We want to attract as many Galaxies to Eureka Springs at that time as pos-sible. The club itself will not be having a judged show. We will be gathering for a huge three day show and shine to talk and have fun with other Galaxie owners from all over the country. YOU DO NOT have to be a club member to attend this event. The only charge that the club is making is for the banquet on Saturday night, as a meal to enjoy together and to give away all kinds of giftcertificatesanditemsdonatedbyourlistofvendors. From talking to many members these past few years we have come to the realization that many just want to get together and meet each other and have fun and they are not interested in having their cars judged. For that reason those who are just coming for the fellowship of other Galaxie owners, we will be gathering on Friday, and Saturday in the huge parking area near the convention center by the Inn of the Ozarks.

Have you ever been to a “Cruise In”? Well consider this one big three day Cruise In. Be-cause that is what it is going to be the most simi-larto.Theonlydifferencebeingyouwillbecruis-ing for a farther distance and being with LOTS of Galaxie owners at your destination. I know that when I go to one of these and think of one with Galaxies everywhere it just gets me wanting to do this more and more. Help us out and let’s make this your dream too! We just have to pass 161 this coming year. That shouldn’t be too hard to do with as many folks in the club that there are and the 12,000 plus Facebook members of our Face-book club page.
