President’s Message

Summer Greetings,

As I’m writing this, I truly believe that the rainy season is upon us and I think it’s a bit early this year! I hope all of our

seasonal residents made it home safely and have missed most of the rainy days.

If you are here in the summer months, we still have activities for you to participate in. June 9th is our next cocktail party

hosted by Alicia Cuervo, Mary Beth Cordier, and Janice Merchant. Mark your calendars for the remaining cocktail party

dates, which are September 15 and November 10th. Please consider hosting one of these fun evenings!

On June 15th (a Friday night), Kathrin Harris and the Bunco ladies decided to do another “bring your spouse, friend,

neighbor, or just yourself” to Bunco night. This is usually very well attended. RSVP to Kathrin so that she can get an

accurate count for setting up tables. This is a great way to meet Turtle Rock neighbors, so come out and join the fun!

Looking ahead…we have our July luncheon on July 11th at Turtles on the Bay. The board decided to change it to the next

week, since many will be traveling for the 4th of July. The August luncheon will be at Cassariano Italian Eatery in Venice,

and September will be at Miguel's Siesta Key. We don’t have speakers at June, July, or August luncheons, so socializing is

encouraged !

Until next month,

Kim
