The day will be broken up into simple stages to cater for parcipants of different entry levels, with tesng jigs available to check the operaon & to diagnose any faults. We will use Pat’s 14M2 Picaxe microcontroller on the day for simplicity of Coding ( BASIC) and because of its wide range of capabilies. Without any modificaon it will run off 4.5, 6 or 9 Volt baery packs. The one Microcontroller will run from a Uni- versal Infrared Remote, Robots – Forward, le & Right, Pneumacs, 5 Servo Motors & 5DC Motors in 10 direcons, OLED Dis- plays, Play Music from 10,000 plus possible Tunes, run 25 Addressable LED’s, over 400 LED’s at one me, etc. You may decide to later use another suitable and capable microcontroller of your choice, to run your model back at school. Pat has lots of Handouts and over 30 other applicaons to view on display, including his latest developments.     Design Brief- Par:cipants will select, construct, test, program and take away their own Universal Remote Infrared

    Controlled, exci:ng STEaM Model of their own choice, a ReCycloBot, 5x5x5 LED Cube or 25 LED Light Bar .
