looking for a unique venue with distinguished elegance. Elmslie Tasmania was established in 1972, and is situated in

one of the oldest vineyards on the western side of the Tamar Valley.

At Matson Catering we understand that the lead up to your big day can sometimes get a little overwhelming, however with over 30 years of catering experience, you can relax in the knowledge that we will be completely focused on providing your guests with the highest calibre of locally sourced food and professional service. Marlo Harris, our Wedding Event Manager, will coordinate every detail of your wedding reception, ensuring that this most important day in your life is a fantastic success and remembered by all. What could be more ideal than combining both your Ceremony and Reception within the same venue? The spectacular settings with views of the Tamar River and Elmslie Vineyard are perfect locations to capture beautiful photos of your special day. As the exclusive Venue Caterer for Elmslie Tasmania, Matson Catering are pleased to present you with our current Wedding Package and have included a range of menus for your consideration. We will design your Wedding Reception to specifically suit your individual needs and are happy to create a tailor-made menu just for you. Join us and see how our passion for food can heighten the enjoyment of your most memorable day. Once you have decided to book your Wedding at Elmslie Tasmania, please contact our Wedding Event Manager to confirm availability of your chosen date. We will discuss all your requirements and forward a detailed quotation outlining all your booking details along with our terms and conditions for your acceptance. A tentative booking will not be confirmed until the deposit and booking confirmation form have been received. As the exclusive Venue Caterer for Elmslie Tasmania, Matson Catering take pride in presenting a unique venue for your consideration. Our Wedding Event Manager will assist wherever possible with your queries, and will work closely with you to ensure every element of your event runs seamlessly.

CAR PARKING Elmslie has a large number of complimentary parking available. Vehicles can be left on the property for pick up the following day at owner’s responsibility.

EXCLUSIVE VENUE CATERER Matson Catering are the exclusive caterer to Elmslie Tasmania, and hold a full liquor license for the venue. As such clients and their guests are not allowed to bring their own food or beverages, except for wedding cakes and lolly bars.

Terms & conditions

Pricing: All prices are current at the time of quotation, however, are subject to change based on market fluctuations. All prices shown are inclusive of GST.

Venue Hire Fees: Wedding ceremony and reception venue hire fee is $1100. Ceremonies can take place after 3.30 pm. Bar ceases operation at 11.30pm with departure by midnight. After these times a fee of $100 per half hour will be charged.

Provision of Catering & Beverages: Matson Catering will make every effort to work with clients and offer menu options to suit specific requirements. As the exclusive caterer at Elmslie Tasmania for all food & beverage, clients and their guests are not permitted to provide food, beverages or offsite catering for consumption or distribution at Elmslie Tasmania.

With prior notice, we are happy to cater for all dietary requirements you or your guests may have.

Supplier’s meals: Are available for musicians, photo booth operators and photographers at $40.00 per person.

Children’s meals: Children aged 12 and over are charged at the full adult tariff. Separate child friendly meals are available for those under 11 years of age.

Numbers for all Functions: Minimum numbers of 50 guests. A surcharge applies if your numbers are less.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION & PAYMENT

Deposit: a non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is payable upon booking to confirm your reservation. We cannot hold or

confirm a date until the deposit is received. A deposit receipt will be emailed to you once the funds have been received.

Cancellation: In the unfortunate situation that a client must cancel a booking, the deposit amount is nonrefundable. An event can be rescheduled and the deposit transferred to another date within 12 months if available.

Full payment: For venue and food is required the day before the function. Beverage payments are to be paid in full at

the completion of the function or the following Monday.

Any additional charges incurred during the function will be invoiced in the week following and are to be finalised within 7 days.

Accounts may be settled by bank cheque, cash or credit card. We do not accept personal cheques.

Date changes: Will be permitted with more than 30 days of the original function date, pending confirmation of availability. Deposits and pre-payments received will be transferred to the new date. Date changes with less than 30 days from the original function date will be treated as a cancellation.

Final Details: To ensure the smooth running of your function, final menu selection is due 4 weeks prior to the date. Matson Catering cannot guarantee the provision or availability of menu or service items submitted after this time.

Final Numbers: The guaranteed minimum number of guests attending must be confirmed to Matson Catering 7 days prior to the date. Decrease in function attendance cannot be accepted after this time.

Surcharges: A 15% surcharge will apply for Sundays on the total account. For all Public Holidays, special surcharges will apply. Functions extending into a Public Holiday may be subject to a portion of this surcharge pending service requirements.

Unforeseen Circumstances: Matson Catering reserve the right to cancel a booking and refund deposits and pre-payments without further liability, if unforeseen circumstances such as, but not limited to, natural disasters, interruption to utilities and services, plant or equipment failure, industrial disputes, accidents or interruptions and unavailability of products result in Matson Catering being unable to deliver products or services as quoted.

SECURITY & CONDUCT

Duty of Care: At all times when Matson Catering is supplying liquor as the Licensee, we will serve your guests in a responsible, friendly and professional manner. Under the Liquor Licensing laws of Tasmania, we have a duty of care to all our guests and our trained staff will not serve alcohol to those guests deemed to be intoxicated or behaving in an antisocial manner. Alcohol will only be served to patrons over the age of 18 years of age and requests for identification may be made by our staff.

Security: Management reserve the right to appoint security personnel for maintaining guest’s safety and function security, charges will be payable by the client.

PROPERTY & EQUIPMENT

Any loss, breakage or damage to property or equipment caused by guests will be invoiced at full replacement costs, including associated cleaning, repair and maintenance works. Any equipment or hire items not available for collection at the designated time will be recorded as missing and invoiced as such. Charges will apply for additional equipment collections following a function.

Matson Catering will not be responsible to any loss or damage to client property, products, merchandise or gifts delivered to or left on function premises prior to, during or following an event.

The use of rice and confetti is prohibited. No items are to be pinned or glued to the walls.

Indemnity: The client must at all times indemnify Matson Catering and its employees for any liability or claim arising for personal injury or death of any person or damage or loss of property in any way relating to the function or persons attending the function, except to the extent of omission, contribution or negligence by Matson Catering.
