It’s our pleasure to invite you to The Petco Foundation’s 14th annual Thanks Fore Giving (TFG) event on
Tuesday, November 7 and Wednesday, November 8, at the Omni La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, California.
The fun kicks off with a casual welcome reception on Tuesday, November 7, with a hosted bar and hors d'oevres at
the beautiful Omni La Costa Resort.
On November 8, golf sponsors hit the greens on either the Champions or Legends golf courses at La Costa—favorites
among the top golf echelon.
We’re excited to offer the popular Regatta Sailing experience again for our adventurous sponsors. Grab your
team and head to your yacht for a fun day of sailing on the San Diego Bay. With only 25 yachts available, please
make your Regatta sponsorship reservation now.
Once again, Elite, Premier and Platinum sponsors for both Golf and Regatta Racing are invited to the exclusive Elite
Dinner with Brad Weston, Petco CEO, and the Petco Senior Leadership Team. All sponsors who register by

7:00 am - 4:30 pm – Golf Tournament & Awards ReceptionEnjoy a delicious breakfast buffet with all participants at the Omni La Costa Resort before the shotgun start - 9 am. The prestigious Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California has been synonymous with the top echelon of golf for more than 41 years and has hosted 37 PGA events. Our Thanks Fore Giving tournament is played on two of the country’s most storied and challenging courses, used exclusively by The Petco Foundation and its tournament participants.
7:00 am – 4:30 pm – Relax and Rejuvenate Spa DayStart the morning with a delicious breakfast buffet with all participants and then leave stress at the door with a visit to The Spa located at Omni La Costa Resort, named the #1 wellness spa by Spa Magazine and Top Luxury Resort Spa in San Diego by Discover SD. You’ll be treated to three spa treatments, which are sure to leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed, followed by a catered lunch.

RULES OF PLAYFORMAT: 4 PERSON SCRAMBLE MEN: WHITE TEESLADIES: RED TEESPROCEDURE FOR PLAY: All players hit from the teeing area. The team selects the best tee shot, place your golf ball
within one club-length (within 3 inches on the
green). All players hit; continue this
procedure until the ball is holed out. You may not go from one condition to another, i.e.
from the rough to the fairway, sand bunker to grass or out of bounds to in bounds. Bogey and done.

HOLE-IN-ONE CHALLENGE
The Petco Foundation is excited to announce a Hole-in-One Challenge during the tournament. Oh yes, it can happen! During the round, players on each course will have one attempt to make a hole-in-one. If the player makes a hole-in-one, Whitney Promotions will donate $25,000 to The Petco Foundation in the player’s name and the player will receive a $1,000 cash prize.
If players make a hole-in-one on any other designated Par 3 hole, they will win one of the following prizes:
• Sharp LCD flatscreen TV• Set of Callaway irons
• Round-trip domestic airfare for two
