The JAckAlOPE event takes its name from this creature in order to deliver a festival that’s dynamic, original, entertaining, and sparks the imagination…

After five editions, JAckAlOPE has proven itself in the industry and with the general public and is proud to be the biggest extreme-sports event in canada. It also takes place at one of montreal’s most iconic sites, where sports from here and around the world come together: the Olympic Stadium.

In 2016, JACKALOPE made history by becoming the first

to launch a base jump from the top of the Olympic Stadium

Tower—the tallest inclined tower in the world. The TRIBU

team is ready to once again challenge limits and give

spectators the best show on earth, year after year…

JAckAlOPE brings together several popular and less-known urban disciplines, including skateboarding, base jumping, climbing, fixed-gear, slackline, and more. In fact, one of the promoter’s main objectives is to demystify extreme sports for the young and young at heart! In Québec, there are more ways than hockey to get moving and surpass your expectations!

last spring, the International Olympic committee announced 4 new disciplines for the 2020 Tokyo games, and JAckAlOPE has been showcasing 2 of these for years: skateboarding and climbing.

The festival ambiance will be taken up a notch thanks to dJs, food trucks, pop-up shops, after parties, and more. The organization will also set up stands so spectators can enjoy the experience that much more during competitions.
