New revelations regarding Hillary Clinton’s conflicts of interest just keep on coming, regardless of the Democratic candidate’s attempt to stem the flow.

Yet Mrs. Clinton lied to Fox News’ Chris Wallace in a recent interview, saying that “there is absolutely no connection between anything that I did as secretary of state and the Clinton Foundation.”

In fact, there are a number of obvious connections between the Clinton Foundation, Clinton Foundation officials, and her State Department. In 2009 Clinton Foundation official and co-founder of Teneo Holdings Doug Band pushed for an associate to get a job with the State Department. “The subject line on the email read ‘A favor…’” reports Breitbart. Band also communicated with Clinton’s aides via email to put Gilbert Chagoury, a Lebanese-Nigerian businessman, in touch with the State Department’s “substance” person in Lebanon.

The response from the Clinton campaign is that these emails don’t “involve the Secretary or relate to the Foundation’s work. They are communications between her aides and the President’s [Bill Clinton] personal aide…” This is typical obfuscation by the Clintons, not supported by the facts.

Chagoury, according to Judicial Watch, has pledged $1 billion to the Clinton Global Initiative, and donated between $1 million and $5 million to the Clinton Foundation. He was found guilty in Switzerland of money laundering, and placed on the federal terrorist no-fly list. One wonders about the magnitude of State Department favors that Chagoury was receiving in exchange for his sizeable donations.

It’s clear that a favor for Clinton Foundation donors was an investment in a future Clinton presidency. As Noah Rothman, writing for Commentary put it, “The implication in these email communications is that those with close connections to the Clinton Foundation had easy access to the Secretary of State’s office, and received quick and unusual assistance in their queries—some of which appear to be employment-related. If proven, that would be a clear violation of an ethics agreement signed by Clinton Foundation chairman (then CEO) Bruce Lindsey and senior advisor to President Barack Obama, Valerie Jarrett, in 2009 as a precondition for Clinton’s appointment to

serve as Secretary of State.”The conflicts of interest get bigger, much bigger. Hillary’s

State Department chief of staff Cheryl Mills discussed with IT professional Bryan Pagliano the danger of Guccifer’s hack of Sidney Blumenthal’s email account, and whether this would extend to Mrs. Clinton. Such a cyber breach could be used to blackmail the secretary of state, given that she claims her deleted emails discuss only personal items such as yoga. Pagliano, who set up Mrs. Clinton’s controversial private email server, agreed to an immunity deal with the FBI. But when he was deposed by Judicial Watch, he pleaded the Fifth Amendment approximately 125 times.

A recent Government Accountability Institute (GAI) report exposed additional Clinton Foundation and State Department cooperation and pay-for-play during the Russian reset.

In the Skolkovo debacle, 17 of the 28 participating companies from around the globe had either donated to the Clinton Foundation or sponsored Bill Clinton’s speeches. Skolkovo is a Russian foundation and technology park, intended to be a Russian version of Silicon Valley. While Mrs. Clinton’s State Department pushed for the Skolkovo initiative, her own foundation was being funded by both the Russians and Americans tied to the project. The report estimates that the foundation gained between $6.5 million and $23.5 million, because the Clinton Foundation only reports donations in ranges.

A Washington Post article titled “Sure, Trump loves conspiracy theories. So do his foes,” high-lighted AIM’s Cliff Kincaid, and linked to one of Cliff’s articles.

“But the biggest Trump con-spiracy stories are the ones that call the candidate a tentacle of the Kremlin,” wrote Jesse Walker for the Post. “Half a year ago, this idea was largely limited to the fringes, where it was �ogged by folks like Cliff Kincaid, a conservative gad-�y who posed such queries as ‘Is Trump a sleeper agent for Mos-cow?’ The idea started percolating into the mainstream media over the summer. It picked up steam af-ter WikiLeaks’ release of the Dem-ocratic National Committee’s emails, a data dump many blamed on Russian hackers.”

An article in WorldNetDaily re-ferred to AIM’s July press confer-ence, marking the 20th anniver-sary of the downing of TWA 800: “Among those who have been sup-porting [Jack Cashill’s] work is Ver-non Grose, a retired NTSB board member. Grose spoke on Cashill’s behalf at a recent press conference in Washington arranged by Accu-racy in Media.”

Chris Plante, a radio talk-show host based in DC, and a recipient of a Reed Irvine Award for Excel-lence in Journalism, recently cited AIM as a leading media watchdog.

Dear Fellow Media Watchdogs: So here we are, the sweltering dog days of August. The

conventions behind us, presumably three debates to come be-tween the Democrat Hillary Clinton and the Republican Donald Trump. Try as they might, it doesn’t look like the media will be able to push Gary Johnson, the Libertarian Party candidate, up to 15 percent in enough polls to earn him a spot in the debates, which are scheduled to commence on September 26. But the plot thickens even more. It’s clear the liberal media are all in for Hill-

ary. And the Republican establishment is torn over Trump. Many leading Republicans and conservatives have made it clear that they won’t be voting for Trump. Many of them say they aren’t endorsing Hillary, but that is clearly the net effect. Now throw in Julian Assange and WikiLeaks, and you have a completely unpredict-able mess. Assange, who is holed up in the Ecuadoran embassy in London, has vowed to turn over emails that will show that Hillary actually did knowingly participate in arming the jihadist group ISIS. To show he’s bipartisan, he also said that he will be releasing Trump’s tax returns. In addition, the FBI reportedly attempted to open a criminal investigation into Hillary’s actions during her time as secretary of state, during which she allegedly used her position to leverage donations to her family’s foundation, and payments to her husband and associates from countries and companies that had business or interests with the U.S. State Department. Nothing to see there. It’s not just the news media. It is also the constant drumbeat of pop culture, and has been for years. Hostility toward Trump and love for Hillary is found regularly in the storylines of the major network primetime shows like “The Good Wife,” “Scandal” and “Madam Secretary,” and on every late-night talk show. Hillary has the contempt of millions of Bernie voters, who felt all along that the Democratic National Committee had its thumb on the scale, working towards nominat-ing Hillary as their candidate. When WikiLeaks released some 20,000 emails just days before the start of the convention, confirming those suspicions, that just compounded the matter. The Hillary people resented Sanders forcing her to continue to have to debate and defend herself. While FBI Director James Comey didn’t recommend in-dicting Hillary, he laid out a compelling case that she had regularly sent and received classified material on her unsecured server, and lied about nearly every aspect of it. There was a recent article by Jim Rutenberg of The New York Times basically arguing that in this year’s election, one of the two candidates is so evil and dangerous (he’s talking about Trump), that we shouldn’t expect the media to stick to their usual standard of being unbiased. Sure. In other words, journalists are people too, and it’s so obvious to them that Hillary is more responsible and experienced that you’d have to be crazy to support Trump. “If you view a Trump presidency as something that’s potentially dangerous,” writes Rutenberg, “then your reporting is going to reflect that.”•

bria County, which is more than 94 per-cent white.

Many cities in Pennsylvania are dying coal towns that are fast becoming what a local TV station calls “coal region ghost towns.”

Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton, the 2016 Democratic presidential candidate, has

called for more coal miners to be thrown out of their jobs. “We’re going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business,” she said at a town hall in West Virginia in March.

When he ran for president, Barack Obama promised to bankrupt coal plants.

Time Magazine recently featured an article titled “Donald Trump’s Many, Many, Many, Many Ties to Russia.”

“So, yes, it’s true that Trump has failed to land a business venture inside Russia,” writes Jeff Nesbit for Time. “But the real truth is that…the Trump organization was forced to seek financing from non-traditional institutions. Several had direct ties to Russian financial interests in ways that have raised eyebrows. What’s more, several of Trump’s senior advisors have business ties to Russia or its satellite politicians” (emphasis in original).

Accuracy in Media has reported on Trump’s troubling ties to Russia. But what about Hillary Clinton’s many ties to that country as the visible proponent of the Russian reset? The mainstream media don’t appear to have much interest in those connections.

“The truth is that Russia surged in global influence from the day Barack Obama assumed the presidency and appointed Hillary Clinton as secretary of State,” writes former chairman of the House Intelligence Committee Pete Hoekstra for USA Today. “Their strategy of ‘leading from behind’ enabled the Russian bear to forcefully assert itself in the Middle East and Eastern Europe.”

“Putin most certainly would hope for a Clinton presidency and the extension of Obama’s policies, giving him another four years of nearly unrestrained aggression,” adds Hoekstra, an advisory member of the Citizens’ Commission on Benghazi.

Meanwhile, the press continues to overlook the fact that former Secretary of State Clinton’s actions while in office endangered national security. Reports on Skolkovo have largely been limited to the conservative media and Peter Schweizer, the author of Clinton Cash, who is also the president of GAI.

According to the GAI report, in 2011 Secretary Clinton praised Skolkovo, saying it “will act as another bridge connecting American and Russian high tech companies, investors, and scientific research institutions.”

“The State Department played an act-ive role early on by setting up meetings for Russian officials with U.S. technology companies,” states the GAI report.

Yet by 2014 the FBI had issued “an extraordinary warning,” according to the report, that Russian members of Skolkovo were seeking to “gain access to classified, sensitive, and emerging technology from the companies.” These

dual-use technologies could, and have, been used to bolster the capabilities of the Russian military. In other words, Hillary Clinton’s Russian reset helped to further strengthen our adversary abroad.

There’s more. Former Obama advisor John Podesta, who currently serves as Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, failed to inform the Obama administration that he sat on the board of a small energy company called Joule Unlimited. “Two months after Podesta joined the board, Vladimir Putin’s Rusnano announced that it would invest up to one billion rubles into Joule Unlimited, which amounts to $35 million,” states the report.

“Among the  New York Times, CNN, NBC, CBS, Washington Post, LA Times, POLITICO—not a single one has covered the bombshell revelation or reported asking Podesta for a comment on his involvement in Joule Unlimited,” reports Breitbart. (Breitbart’s Stephen K. Bannon is the Executive Chairman of

both Breitbart and GAI.) “It’s obvious that these mainstream media firms—namely, CNN, NYT, and POLITICO—have no problem covering Trump-Putin stories. They’ve done so, repeatedly, over several news cycles.”

In the article “Russia Continues to Shadow Trump,” CNN’s Nicole Gaouette cites Trump’s “sympathy for Putin,” and says his attitudes toward Russia are a problem for him in this election. When will the media decry Hillary Clinton’s Russian ties?

The mainstream press has sought to marginalize voices such as Schweizer’s in preparation for a Hillary presidency. However, as he notes in his Clinton Cash documentary, Salida Capital, a subsidiary of the Russian Rosatom, funneled cash to the Clinton Foundation in 2010 prior to the Uranium One deal. “A major listed beneficiary of [Skolkovo’s nuclear] research is Rosatom, the Russian State Nuclear Agency, which manages the country’s nuclear arsenal,” states the GAI report.

“Rosatom, through its subsidiary ARMZ, purchased a Canadian uranium company called Uranium One in 2010 which held assets in the United States and therefore required State Department approval,” the report continues. “Nine Uranium One shareholders donated more than $145 million to the Clinton Foundation.”

No matter where you look there is evidence of pay-for-play in Clinton circles. The news media’s double standard prevents them from taking an equal and fair look at the two candidates’ Russian ties. We know the media have chosen sides in this election, but they still have an obligation to report on such blatant conflicts of interest, even when they involve Hillary Clinton.

Hillary Says Obama “Left Behind” White America

This is a promise that he has followed through on. In 2012, Cecil Roberts, president of the United Mine Workers, an affiliate of the AFL-CIO, said then-EPA administrator Lisa P. Jackson used executive branch rules and regulations to destroy the coal industry. “The Navy SEALs shot Osama Bin Laden in Paki-stan and Lisa Jackson shot us in Wash-ington,” Roberts said.

We reported at the time that Jackson was an environmental zealot who ad-vocates “eco-justice.” In 2010, she had received a copy of a “Green Bible” from the liberal National Council of Church-es. Obama ordered her to wage war on the fossil fuel industry in order to build a “green economy.”

Mrs. Clinton promises to continue the transition to a “green economy” with no manufacturing jobs.

While jobs are not flowing into Cam-bria County, drugs are. Cambria County ranked first in the overdose death rate among all Pennsylvania counties from 2007 through 2011. Many were heroin-related opioid deaths.

With major industries having been de-stroyed by bad trade agreements, much of Pennsylvania is now facing a “heroin epidemic,” as documented by local TV station WJAC. The number of heroin re-lated deaths in Cambria County tripled in a year, the station reported.

A multimillion-dollar heroin op-eration was busted—resulting in 33 ar-rests—after a joint investigation by the FBI, the state, county and city law en-forcement. Authorities said 25 bricks of heroin were being distributed per day, primarily in the Johnstown area of Cam-bria County.

The implications—ignored by the media—are that President Obama, the first black president, has ignored the de-teriorating condition of white America, while also turning a blind eye to the drug problem that has subsequently engulfed the region.

In stark contrast to Republican presi-

dential nominee Donald J. Trump, who appears at public events with thousands of people, Hillary Clinton spoke to “a private audience” of about 200 in John-stown, Pennsylvania last Saturday.

Ignored by most of the national lib-eral media were local protesters carrying signs outside that said, “HILLARY THE SNAKE,” “LOCK HER UP!” and even “JAIL OBAMA.”

The Tribune-Democrat captured the image of a sign saying, “Killary Killed Coal & Steel. Vote Trump.”

But the complaints went beyond her indifference to the plight of workers. Lo-cal resident Sharon Nagle said, “She had a private server to do our business—our State Department, foreign affairs busi-ness—on, and mixed it with her emails and then decides that she has the right to pick which ones are which. No, they’re all ours. They’re ours—not hers—and I want them back. I want to know where our emails are, and I want to know why she had a secret server to keep her busi-ness from the people who she serves and works for.”

Local resident David Allison said, “Hillary is a bad choice for president. She should be in jail right now, really. It looks like there’s two standards for citizens in this country. The rest of us and the elite. They have their own set of rules.”

The Daily-American said another lo-cal resident, Wes Lauffer, characterized Clinton as a “lying, anti-American, Mus-lim Brotherhood crony of Obama.”

USA Today said Republican Mitt Romney won 58 percent of the vote in Cambria County in 2012, “despite the fact that registered Democrats outnum-ber Republicans.” The economic prob-lems have only gotten worse since then.

What’s happening in Cambria County is also occurring in other parts of Penn-sylvania. The depressed conditions of Mahanoy City in Schuylkill County have led members of Jesus the Divine Word Catholic Church in Huntingtown, Maryland, to make annual mission trips to the region to help local residents. Among other things, parishioners main-tain and paint homes, visit shut-ins, and hold worship services at the local Catho-lic Church, Blessed Teresa of Calcutta.

On one trip, 48 homes were fixed by the visiting parishioners.

Mahanoy City is a former coal town. “Mahanoy’s population peaked more

than a century ago at nearly 16,000 peo-ple, four times the number living there now,” the publication Keystone Cross-roads reported. “It never recovered after the coal industry collapsed.”

The situation is so bad that Mahanoy City and others are being labeled “ghost towns,” as a result of people leaving. Local TV station WNEP reports that in Mahanoy City, 26.3 percent of the homes sit vacant. “Just a block from the main street a home is selling for less than a price of a used car,” the station said.

In Shamokin, a city in Northumber-land County, there is also a vacancy rate of 26.3 percent. “Afternoon traffic rarely stops on downtown blocks that increas-ingly see buildings for rent or for sale,” the station reported.

The investigation unit of the station, known as Newswatch 16, looked at the vacancy rates for homes in communities with more than 2,000 people. It said the top 10 were:

station that she has a hard time selling property in Shenandoah. She said she shows people downtown properties and they reply, “Why would I want to move my business to a dying old coal town?”

Trump’s campaign has spoken about the population and employment losses in Pennsylvania, promising to bring back manufacturing jobs and stopping bad trade agreements.

Trump says the nation’s growing hero-in problem can be traced to the failure to keep the southern border secure. Heroin is “pouring across” the border, he notes.

In regard to the problem of high-po-tency marijuana that has been unleashed by Obama’s failure to enforce federal anti-marijuana statues, Trump has indi-cated that he will reverse course, order enforcement, and crack down on emerg-ing marijuana businesses that profit by poisoning the minds of young people.

“Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing,”

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said during his controversial July 27th press conference. “I think you’ll be rewarded mightily by our press.” He later tweeted that these emails should be turned over to the FBI.

The press insisted that what Trump proposed would involve foreign meddling in the American election. However, the press has said little about the Obama administration’s meddling in other countries’ elections. President Obama urged a “no” vote when Britain was considering “Brexit,” leaving the European Union. As for Israel’s election of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last year, The Washington Post reports that “…the news broke that Obama’s 2012 national field director, Jeremy Bird, was headed to Tel Aviv to manage a grass-roots campaign to oust Netanyahu.”

Granted, while this might constitute American interference in foreign voting, neither of these actions encouraged foreign countries to spy on U.S. candidates, or hack into their emails. But is that really what Trump did?

CNN political analyst Christine Quinn said of Trump, “It’s honestly almost treasonous.”

John Harwood, chief Washington correspondent for CNBC and contributor to The New York Times, tweeted that “Trump, who fondly recalls when America was ‘great,’ could literally have been locked up in 1950s for saying what he said about Russia today.”

Michael Weiss, Senior Editor at The Daily Beast, tweeted that it was “A bold strategy, making your campaign platform treason.”

While the press was busy pillorying Trump, they repeatedly focused on that one line. The premise of the question swirling around Trump was that the

hacking of the Democratic National Committee’s emails and their release just before the start of the Democrat convention was an effort by the Russians to hurt Hillary and the Democrats—and to help Trump.

Early on in the press conference, Trump said, “It’s just a total deflection, this whole thing with Russia.  In fact, I saw her campaign manager I don’t know his title, Mook. I saw him on television and they asked him about Russia and the hacking. By the way, they hacked—they probably have her 33,000 e-mails. I hope they do. They probably have her 33,000 e-mails that she lost and deleted because you’d see some beauties there.”

The questions kept on coming. That is when Trump said the following:

“Why do I have to get involved with Putin? I have nothing to do with Putin. I’ve never spoken to him. I don’t know anything about him other than he will respect me. He doesn’t respect our President. And if it is Russia—which it’s probably not, nobody knows who it is—but if it is Russia, it’s really bad for a different reason, because it shows how little respect they have for our country, when they would hack into a major party and get everything. But it would be interesting to see—I will tell you this—Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing. I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press.”

Where is the media outcry over Hillary Clinton’s trafficking in classified information? FBI Director Comey, while choosing not to recommend an indictment, called her “extremely careless” and said that 110 of her emails, either sent or received, contained classified information which was classified at the time.

“She also used her personal e-mail extensively while outside the United States, including sending and receiving work-related e-mails in the territory of sophisticated adversaries,” said Comey. “Given that combination of factors, we assess it is possible that hostile actors gained access to Secretary Clinton’s personal e-mail account.”

When Chris Wallace interviewed

Mrs. Clinton on Fox News Sunday on July 31, he cited Comey’s repudiation of her claims that she never emailed any classified material to anyone, nor that she ever sent or received any information that was classified at the time, nor received anything marked classified. She responded, “Chris, that’s not what I heard Director Comey say.” But that’s exactly what Comey said. Even The Washington Post Fact Checker has given Hillary  Four Pinocchios for this latest series of lies.

Many in the press seemed to have forgotten that Mrs. Clinton’s server has already been turned over to the FBI. What, then, is left to hack? Any espionage would likely have been done while Mrs. Clinton’s server was hooked up to the Internet, and may have been done while she was secretary of state.

Bloomberg News reported back in June that “The Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation was among the organizations breached by suspected Russian hackers in a dragnet of the U.S. political apparatus ahead of the November election…” The Clinton campaign may have been affected, as well. More damaging leaks can be expected in the future, and the news media will most certainly rally to protect Mrs. Clinton—whatever the revelations.

Mrs. Clinton and her family have much to hide. We have reported repeatedly about the quid pro quo corruption of the Clinton Foundation and the Clintons, as the family accepted donations and speaking fees from foreign nations and companies with business before Hillary Clinton’s State Department.

“The truth is that when the emails that are leaked in the age of the Internet are America’s wartime secrets, such as battlefield secrets in a time when our troops are engaged in combat with a savage foe, the left is all too eager to work with the leakers and characterize them as ‘whistleblowers,’” comments The New York Sun. “But when the messages being leaked include internal email traffic of the Democrats themselves, wires that show them maneuvering against Senator Sanders in a ghastly way, the Democrats are suddenly up in arms.”

Ron Fournier, senior political columnist for the National Journal, wants Democrats to

tell Hillary Clinton to stop lying if she wants to win the election in November.

In an article he wrote for The Atlantic, Fournier made it clear that while he thinks GOP nominee Donald Trump is “vacuous, soulless, and temperamentally unfit for the presidency,” he is more worried that Clinton’s penchant for lying will cost her the election.

Fournier cites Clinton’s  Fox News Sunday  interview with Chris Wallace in which she claimed that FBI Director James Comey said that her answers about her use of a personal email server were “truthful.” Fournier said that Clinton knows that is a lie.

Clinton received a lot of unwanted publicity yesterday after The Washington Post  Fact Checker Glenn Kessler gave the former First Lady the maximum four Pinocchios for lying to Wallace.

Fournier, who said he will vote for Clinton, is angry at her and called on the liberal media and Democrats to quit covering for her:

“I’m angry at Clinton because I expect better. The country needs better.  I say

again: ‘If Trump becomes president, the world will have Clinton to blame.’

“Her dishonesty could push an unknown number of independent and undecided voters into Trump’s camp or toward a non-major-party candidate. If too many swing voters walk away from Clinton because she destroyed her credibility or because they don’t want to condone her behavior, the nuclear codes go to Trump.

“That is why Clinton’s advisers, senior Democrats, and members of the liberal media need to stop covering for Clinton. Stop repeating her spin. Stop spreading her lies. Stop enabling her worse angels. It’s too late for Clinton to come clean, but honorable Democrats should at least insist that she stop muddying the water.

“Please, for the sake of the country, tell her: Stop lying.”

That’s wishful thinking on Fournier’s part, as lying has been the Clinton way for as long as they’ve been in politics.•

In an interview with Colorado News9’s Brandon Rittiman, Democratic presidential nominee

Hillary Clinton doubled down on her claim that FBI Director James Comey called her public comments about her private email server “truthful:”

Rittiman: “What kind of stuff was in those emails?”

Clinton: “It was all personal stuff and we’ve said that consistently, and as the FBI said, everything that I’ve said publicly has been consistent and truthful

with what I told them.”The Washington Post Fact Checker

gave Clinton “four Pinocchios,” its highest rating for dishonesty, and Politifact rated her statement as “[Suit] Pants on Fire.”

It’s not only the Post and Politifact that have problems with Clinton’s claim. The National Journal’s Ron Fournier, who said he will vote for Hillary, is begging Democratic leaders to get Hillary to stop lying. And even Hillary fanboy Chris Matthews said Clinton was wrong to make this claim.

Clinton tried to clear up what she meant at the joint National Association of Black Journalists and National Association of Hispanic Journalists convention when she said the following in response to a question on the matter:

“That’s really the bottom line here. And I have said during the interview and many other occasions over the past months, that what I told the FBI, which he said was truthful, is consistent with what I have said publicly. So I may have short-circuited it and for that, I, you know, will try to clarify because I think, you know, Chris Wallace and I were probably talking past each other because of course, he could only talk to what I had told the FBI and I appreciated that.”

And I’m sure she will appreciate further questions about this from the Trump campaign during the debates.•

opposition research of the DNC against Trump back in June? Frankly, they were fine with that. The latest revelations on Wikileaks have been more damaging, and the press has had to step in to help their favored candidate.

If the Russians did hack Mrs. Clinton’s homebrew server, they likely have blackmail material on her. “This sort of gangsterism is perfectly in keeping with Putin’s [modus operandi], so the blackmail angle can hardly be dismissed,” noted Rick Moran for The American Thinker in June.

Mollie Hemingway of The Federalist

had an excellent piece on this, arguing that the media played right into Trump’s hands. She wrote:

“Trump’s communication style is one that works well on many voters, and is not known in any way, shape, or form for its specificity. First he says he hopes Russia finds the emails. Then he says ‘they probably have them’ and ‘if they have them, they have them.’“But the point is that his jokey

highlighting of Hillary Clinton’s claim that she deleted 30,000 personal emails about yoga is not

really the same thing as calling on Russia to currently hack information that they, in all likelihood, took years ago. Perhaps a tempering of the headlines and framing is in order.” 

It’s a familiar pattern by now. The press plays gotcha with Trump. His adversarial and sarcastic posture towards the media sometimes gets him in trouble and requires several days to clean up and move on. We’re at 100 days and counting until the election. The polls show the race at close to dead even. It’s time to buckle up.•
