PUBERTY BLUES

Upper Hunter Community Health will be presenting a one hour workshop on Puberty for all students in Years 5 and 6, on Tuesday May 24. The workshop has been developed by NSW Health Services and will be presented by Jodie Duffel, a Women’s Health Nurse from Upper Hunter Community Health, and is aimed at educating preteens on a range of body issues. If there are any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact your child’s teacher.

REGENT HONEYEATER UPDATE

In Term 1, senior primary students worked with Ms Creagh to learn about the importance of protecting our native animals and birds. As part of their learning the students wrote the following report:

STOP DESTROYING HABITATS

area to another. You can visit our tree planting along the Worondi Road, between Merriwa and Sandy Hollow.

We invite the rest of our community to lend a hand by planting trees, and by not destroying any further habitat areas.” – Year 5/6

FOYER DISPLAYS

In Terms 2 and 3, each class will be displaying examples of children’s work in the foyer of the administration building. Please feel free to pop in and enjoy the quality work that your children are completing in class every day.

LONE PINE DONATION

Many thanks to the staff at the Muswellbrook Forest Nursery, who presented us with a seedling from the original Lone Pine tree at Gallipoli. This tree will be planted in the near future, and will be a proud reminder of the ANZAC legacy.

CROSS COUNTRY / FUN RUN PROCEEDS

Thanks to the fundraising efforts of many of our children, we have again managed to raise a profit of approximately $1500.00 from sponsorship. This is an awesome result – congratulations to all of you.

WHOLE SCHOOL ASSEMBLY

This terms first Kinder-Year 6 assembly will be held on Friday May 13, commencing at 2.15pm. Year 3/4 will be presenting an item for your enjoyment. Please come along and share in the children’s achievements.

“Our Regent Honeyeater is almost extinct. Many years ago there were thousands of trees, including ironbark, growing everywhere in our area. People settled the area, clearing the trees to make farms and used the timber to build

fences and houses.

Year 5/6 have studied Ecology and have learned about animal habitats. We have discovered that the Regent Honeyeater’s habitat has been destroyed. We have found out that there are less than 500 Honeyeaters left.

On March 24, 2016 the Taronga Park Zoo-mobile came to the school, along with people from John Holland and other environmental groups, to tell us more about extinct animals and the Honeyeater.

On March 31 we planted trees and shrubs to create a habitat corridor to form “stepping stones” for animals and birds to move from one

PSSA NETBALL

On Thursday May 28, eleven students in Years 3 to 6 travelled to the Merriwa Netball courts to play in a PSSA knockout round against Denman. The girls played exceptionally well and should be commended on their sportsmanship. Unfortunately we were defeated on the day by a great Denman netball team. Thank you also to Shai Blackadder for umpiring on the day.

Congratulations to Year 5/6, who prepared and led a very respectful and heartfelt ANZAC service for us all at school last week. Each class made their own wreath to bring forward during the service, and “The Ode” was read beautifully by Olivia and Kyreece.

AGRICULTURE REPORT

I hope you were all lucky enough to get a share of the rain last weekend. We are grateful for the drop we received, which will help with our winter wheat which is starting to appear in the large paddock adjoining Bow Street.

Year 12 Agriculture are working on their elective Farming for the 21st Century, which will see them research modern agricultural technologies including biotechnologies, robotic milking and shearing systems, assisted reproduction methods and genetic manipulation etc.

This week we are awaiting the arrival of two dozen chicks who will become part of the Year 11 Agriculture animal production studies. The chicks are randomly split into two groups and students will trial different feeds to see if there is any difference in growth of the chicks.

The Primary Industries class have been working through competencies on Workplace Communication and Working Effectively in Industry. They will be participating in another fencing project later this term to replace the

Good old fashioned fun

A shared afternoon tea was enjoyed by all before a sizzling Literacy session. The infants class astounded classroom visitors with their wonderful writing skills. Here is a snapshot:

St Joseph’s Primary School

Listening to the rain on the roof as I write this article, I thank God for the happiness and optimism this brings and pray there is enough rain for the farmers to breathe easier again.

The working bee scheduled has been postponed… one of the priority jobs listed was to water the trees! Thank you to Dermot Shannon, Will Mulligan, Michael Hagley and Mark Whale who came for the indoor component and installed our new computer cabinets.

The feast of St Joseph the worker was celebrated by our school last Friday. St Joseph obviously is the Patron of our school but also the patron of all workers. Father John spoke beautifully to the children at Mass on Friday about the great role model Joseph is for us all to work hard, work honestly and to work for the betterment of others.

Buddy walkers

Tabloid sports were enjoyed by all the school and the parent visitors. A huge “thank you” goes to all the Stage 3 students for their organisation of the tabloid sports. The sports were well planned for, and the equipment was put out and away in a most responsible manner. Well done.

Congratulations to Rebecca Keegan for being awarded the “Spirit of St Joseph” award for Term 1. This award, sponsored by Merriwa Newsagency, recognises Rebecca as a very mature, friendly and caring student who is always happy to be

Chess fun is back!

The Choose Maths program is progressing very well at the moment, assisting our teachers through targeted professional development to provide effective Maths teaching to our students. Professional reading provided at http://calculate.org.au/2016/04/13/problem-problem-solving/ was very worthwhile and parts of it were pertinent to parents as well as teachers as we all work together to raise the learning levels of the students. I have taken strategies in the following text directly from this site.

here at school. She has embraced her role as a leader with enthusiasm and dedication, always being ready to lend a helping hand and support others in need. Rebecca works hard in class and gets along well with other students and staff. Rebecca also proudly represents our school at community events such as ANZAC Day and working bees. Congratulations and thank you Rebecca!

Sport has always been an important aspect of the curriculum at St Joseph’s and we are proud of the quality of opportunities our students have available to them. As well as regular weekly sport lessons the students are able to compete in a vast number of sports at representative level. Annually we have qualified instructors to provide swimming, gymnastics and athletics instruction.

Damian Jamieson represented our school and the Upper Hunter Region in the Diocesan Touch Football trials last week. Congratulations Damian on your great skill and sportsmanship.

More than 20 students will travel to Tarro next week to compete in the Diocesan Cross Country competition. We wish them all the best.

These are exciting times at St Joseph’s as we all work together to achieve greater levels of achievement for all students. Parent-Student-Teacher goal setting meetings went very well last term with a huge number of parents and students letting me know how useful they found them to be. By next week there will be feedback to you on how we have all performed at assisting the students reach their goals and then new ones will be set.

Congratulations to the following fabulous award winners:

Kindergarten - Jye Bates - for wonderful expression reciting poetry

Sammi Patterson - for great efforts in forming letters correctly

Year 1/2 - Ben Patterson - for great enthusiasm in writing activities

Levi Hourn - for great enthusiasm in writing activities

DENMAN ANZAC DAY SERVICES

Sandy Hollow Public School was represented at the Denman ANZAC Day services on Monday April 25 by 6 of our students, and their families. Reece and Jobee McCandless (along with their parents and brother) attended the church service at St Bernards Catholic Church. Reece presented our school banner (on his own) in church, at the beginning of the service. We were then joined by Andrew Harris, Harry Thompson, Archie Johnson and Thomas McLean (and their families) for the ANZAC Day March through Denman. Reece and Andrew carried our school banner, with the remaining four pupils proudly marching behind them. At the midday service in the Denman Memorial Park, Andrew Harris read a Prayer

BUSH POET VISIT

On Friday, all students will travel to Denman to watch a bush poets performance. Denman Lions Club have very generously offered to pay for the bus, so there will be no cost to the students. Permission notes need to be returned by Wednesday. The students will be accompanied by Ms Bullock and Ms Higgins.

NAPLAN

Year 3 and 5 will be participating in NAPLAN assessments on Tuesday 10th May to Thursday 12th May. It is very important that all participating students get a good night’s sleep and eat a healthy breakfast to give them the best possible start to the day. NAPLAN data is used by the school to direct school programs. It is also used for funding of some programs. Students who are unable to attend the above dates, will be given the opportunity to ‘catch up’ any assessments they have missed.

ATHLETICS

This term, students will be participating in an athletics program. All students will have the benefit if working with Nicky Western, who is an accomplished athlete in her own right. Once again, this program has been covered by our Sporting Schools grant, so there is no cost to parents.

WALKATHON

Mrs Parker has organised for our annual walkathon to take place on Friday May 20. Information and sponsor sheets will be sent out this week.

WINTER UNIFORM

Now that the weather is cooler in the mornings, many students have been wearing jumpers and track pants to school. Please ensure that all items of clothing are labelled so that when they are discarded in the playground, staff can return them to their rightful owner.

QUALITY TEACHING ROUNDS

All teaching staff attended the second training day for quality teaching rounds. We were put into groups of three or four. Over the next two terms, we will be taking turns to teach and have our lessons coded against the quality teaching framework. The coding will be discussed, which will give staff the opportunity to improve lesson presentation.

TIME TO GET COOKING

Welcome back to Pre-School for the term. We are kicking it off with some wonderful Mother’s Day craft with the children. On Thursday we are pleased to welcome Principal podiatrist, Adam Glascock to our Pre-School. Adam has been a regular to our service for a number of years and has assessed many of our children for conditions related to their feet, legs and hips. I’m afraid all places filled very quickly, so please contact the Pre-School if you missed out and would like to follow this up yourself.

Next week we are holding our Annual Bake Sale in the playground to celebrate Mother’s Day. This is also an opportunity to swap or purchase clothing and toys at very low prices. It is more of an attempt to participate in sustainable practices than an attempt to make money. The children do however enjoy and learn a lot from this experience. Interacting with people, numeracy, cooking skills, independence and organisation are but a few of the skills needed to operate our own stall. Throughout this week we will also continue to discuss the need to love and care for our world. Using flash cards the children and I have explore topics such as waste, our clean oceans, soil and air. Slowly the children are recognising that what they do at home and school has an impact on their environment, such as the purchase of new items or how much garbage we produce and the need to protect our precious wildlife.

We ask that you contribute by baking a slice or cake and donating it to our stall for sale. We also welcome you to bring any pre-loved item in good condition for the children to sell to families. We will be inside the entrance gate of the Pre-School with our goods on arrival and departure all week between May 9-13. Don’t forget your spare change. If our stall is successful we are hoping to purchase new tea sets for home central for the children to enjoy.

I am curious if there are many families with two or three year old children in the community who are interested in a place at Pre-School on Monday. This is a day we have reserved for the children in this age group and with the offering of an additional playgroup session once a fortnight it combines well to provide familiarity and support to children and their families. I have been recently hearing of a need for care for young children in the community, so why not try local first?

The Festival of the Fleeces is fast approaching and again this year we are escorting the children down the street we are creating a sheep draped in knitting and suggest that the children wear as many knitted or crocheted items as possible. If you would like to join us in the walk please begin to inform us at the Pre-School.

Please save the date Monday May 30 at 6.00pm for our lovely School Readiness evening.

If you are considering sending your child to school next year this is not to be missed.

Next Committee meeting Monday June 6 at 6.00pm. Hope to see you there.

Focus - In Sunday’s story from ACTS about the conversion of Lydia, the first European convert, there are intriguing details that tell us more than the author may have intended. For instance the Sabbath gathering by the river where Paul and Silas first met Lydia was a community composed exclusively of women. Surely this would have been a very unusual situation for men to deal with. The fact that Paul and Silas stayed and worshiped tells us of the extent to which these Near-Eastern men allowed themselves to be led by God’s Spirit in ways that entirely contradicted their cultural conditioning. Luke’s use of the phrase “and the Lord opened her mind” makes it very clear that the apostles were following God’s lead, just as Peter had done with Cornelius.

The history of the Spirit within Christianity is like a mighty underground river which has erupted with amazing healing power from time to time, only to be repeatedly submerged. Nevertheless, God’s rivers of change continue to transform the Christian community, making it a welcoming place for all people.

CHANGES TO TRANSCARE BUS TIMETABLE

As of May 2, 2016 TransCare will no longer run its 6.10am and 3.30pm services from Merriwa. This is due to a lack of residents utilising the services. The TransCare bus which leaves Merriwa at 8.35am and returns at 3.30pm will still continue to run.

“We looked long and hard at the services but could not warrant continuing them as we often have only one person boarding the bus,” said TransCare CEO Alan Gordon. “The 8.35am bus is well utilised and will continue to run as normal in order to help Merriwa residents travel to other towns in the area.”

If anyone has any questions about bus timetables please call the TransCare office on 6545 3113 or visit www.transcare.org.au.

TransCareBUSH FIRE DANGER PERIOD ENDED APRIL 30

The NSW Rural Fire Service (NSWRFS) will end the statutory Bush Fire Danger Period in Liverpool Range Zone.

From May 1, 2016 fire permits will no longer be required for the Liverpool Plains, Gunnedah and Upper Hunter Local Government Areas.

“Although fire permits are no longer required, property owners must still exercise caution and follow guidelines regarding the use of fire,” said District Officer Graham Brown.

“Residents must notify neighbouring land owners and their local fire authority at least 24 hours before burning, as well as taking appropriate action to ensure containment and control of fire so it doesn’t escape and cause damage.

“Penalties still apply for failing to notify neighbours that you are lighting a fire and for allowing fires to escape.

“Even though the weather is cooling down, there is still the potential for fires to threaten life, property and the environment.”

If residents do wish to conduct burning activities, they should ask the NSWRFS for advice, permits and approvals and:

• Give fire authorities and neighbours 24 hours notice

• Check weather conditions/Total Fire Bans

• Delay the burn if concerning winds are forecast

• Create proper fire breaks

• Have adequate water resources and firefighting equipment on hand

• Supervise the fire at all times

• Call Triple Zero (000) immediately if fire escapes.

“We encourage people to seek advice from their local NSWRFS Fire Control Centre on how to safely conduct hazard reduction activities such as slashing, trittering and burning, and how to prepare their homes for the next bush fire season,” said District Officer Graham Brown.

WWW.MERRIWANEWSAGENCY.COM.AUMOTHER’S DAY

It is Mother’s Day this weekend so it is time to get organised and make it a special day for mum.

HALLMARK SAYS IT ALL

An essential part of Mother’s Day is giving mum a card that lets her know how much you love her and appreciate everything she has given you and done for you throughout the year and your life. We have a great range of heartfelt, cute, funny, slightly naughty, pretty and more. There are cards for all different mums from all kinds of kids! We even have some lovely cards for the HUSBAND to give to his WIFE.

PRETTY LITTLE BIRDS

We have a great range of pretty things to give to your mum. There is a lovely range of ceramic birds in pretty pinks, whites and blue. Birds are a very popular decoration right now and would suit any dresser, bookshelf or mantelpiece. There are a range of sizes that will suit any sized space.

VASE

A vase is a wonderful gift for mum, especially if they have a big bunch of flowers in them. Our affordable vases are classic and timeless, with a slight reference to Art Deco. They are available in a neutral palette and any mum would love one.

SPARKLY BEAUTIES

Our range of jewellery has been boosted with the latest shipment of fabulous and vibrant items. There are gorgeous necklaces - colourful, chunky, delicate, metal, leather and more. Earrings are an easy gift to give and our range of Swarovski crystals has proven to be extremely popular. They are great for everyday and more formal occasions. They come in silver, rose gold and gold with a wide range of crystals. They are nickel free so are perfect for those with sensitive skin. There are other. We have so many nice pieces at the moment so come in and check them out. Watch for them on Facebook, as we are showing some of them now.

A FEAST... WITH DESSERT

The latest issue of Better Homes and Gardens is filled with great ideas for making a feast for mum. (the pumpkin and carrot soup is as delicious as the front cover makes it look - we made it ourselves!) As the weather finally turns cool and wet, this is the perfect time to cook heartwarming soups, stews and baked desserts. Mum will appreciate it and they are deceptively simple to make. Magazines like ‘Taste’ and ‘Delicious’ are filled with tempting and wonderful meal ideas for mum’s special dinner. If mum is a fan of any of these magazines (or any other not mentioned here) we can set up an in-store subscription that suits any budget. You are not tied in to minimum orders or contracts. Just speak to one of our staff to set it up.

PHONECARDS; all cards are now available including Telstra, Optus and Vodaphone

Cash or Eftpos only.

Dear Welderup Pty Ltd customers. I would like to announce to you and the public that after nearly six and a half years in business I have sold Welderup to Justin and Leanne Hunt. As most would know, Justin has been running the workshop and all of the sales side of the business now since July 2010. With the recent change in the business core work saw a good time for myself to get out of it. This will allow Justin to further develop the local side of the business and let myself dabble in a new venture.

As some of you would know, Justin has a past in sales. Working for Landmark and Coopers to name a few, before starting with Welderup. So he has the knowledge and expertise to continue on with the workshop fabrication and repairs as well as grow the sales side of the business.

My current employees will continue on with Justin and I have expressed to Justin that if he needs a hand that I would be able to make myself available to assist when needed. So there will be no changes in the services that we have been offering in the past. You will also notice more and more products becoming available on the sale side of things in due time.

I would like to thank all of my current and past employees for the role they played in establishing Welderup Pty Ltd over the past six years. Without your hard work the business would not have been a saleable asset.

I would like to thank all of my current and past customers for their support over the years and ask if they could please finalise all accounts promptly. All April accounts will have our current bank details on them. Following that Justin and Leanne’s account will be shown on all invoices and statements from May 1, 2016. Any account holders not paid in full by May 31 will then receive two statements, one for the work carried out pre April 30 and one for works completed from May 1 and onwards. Any work that has been started but not finished before May 1 will be invoiced entirely by the new owners. The Welderup office will continue to act on my behalf to finalise all accounts pre change of ownership.

There will be no changes in the Coregas gas accounts. They will continue on with no need to have any of your details changed.

Justin has been an outstanding employee. Hard working and dedicated to his job for myself as well as being great friend from a young age and I wish him and Leanne all the very best in the venture. With his background and local knowledge, I am

sure they will succeed and further more grow the business in the future.

If anyone has any questions or concerns regarding the sale please contact myself.

Regards and thanks again for your support, Mark Sparrow.

League tag kicked off at 3.00pm. Unfortunately, Murrurundi were too good, running hard onto the ball and finding gaps. Merriwa’s defence in the second half was good, keeping them to two tries. Merriwa went down 36-0.

Reserve grade kicked off at 4.00pm, the boys started well, running hard and defending well. Murrurundi were just a little better, defeating Merriwa 24-8.

Training starts at 6.30pm on Tuesday’s for men and women then 6.30pm Thursday for women and 6.30pm Friday for men.

Our next game is at Greta on Sunday May 8. League Tag starting at 10.15am and Reserve Grade 12.30pm.

Merriwa Junior Rugby League and Netball Club

NETBALL REPORT

The 2016 netball season is well underway and our four teams are all having a brilliant time. Our three younger teams the M and Ms’, OPALS and the FANTAS are all learning lots of new skills and all about the game from their coaches at training and from every game they played at weekends. The last few games I have managed to get to watch, it is evident that each and every player has improved from when they started. The FANTAS welcomed a new player on Saturday with Izzy Swan joining them. I am sure she will fit in well.

With the Scone Horse Festival underway all teams have a bye this Saturday May 7 but training will be continuing on Tuesdays. Thanks again to Teianna, Paige, Tina and Katie for taking on coaching rolls this year. I hope I’m not too difficult to put up with. Don’t forget MJRL and Netball are fundraising by selling chocolates so if you would like to support our local club by purchasing some we would greatly appreciate it.

Scone Players: Chareese, Olive, Beth and Lulu

Player of the Week this week was awarded to Emily Wright for her amazing defending skills throughout the entire game. Well done Emily, keep up the good work.

All of the girls on the M and M’s played exceptionally well and should all be extremely proud of their efforts each and every week. We hope to see all of the girls at training on Tuesdays at 4.30pm and on Saturdays before the game. Thank you Teianna Taylor for the delicious

Comprint M and M’s - The M and M’s played well together on the weekend and continue to improve individually and as a team. Teianna and I are extremely impressed with the way all of the girls both from Scone and Merriwa communicate and work together as a team after only playing four games together.

Whilst the girls had a great day, we sadly had to say farewell to one of our Scone players, Lulu Davis, as she sets out on a new adventure with her family in Queensland. We hope she has enjoyed her time as part of the M and M’s team and hopefully she will continue her netball career when she settles into her new home.

As a part of the girl’s development, the positions are switched around in every quarter. This week the girls played in the following positions:

cupcakes!

Welderup Opals - This week the Opals were given a bit of experience at playing wet weather. It poured down through their third quarter but the girls pushed through.

These girls are a pleasure to work with and have improved their skills. Prior to each week we take a moment to talk about our previous game, this is also talked about at the end of the game before we take off. In between each quarter each of the team has the opportunity to bring up the strengths we have just shown in the quarter we have played followed by a “where we can improve” comment. I find this a way of getting the girls to talk without one person being dominant, to allow them to concentrate on their strengths and also to take notice on how they play. Thank you to the parents for being patient for me taking a few extra minutes at the end of the game.

First quarter the Opals were on the ball. They worked super hard and only went down by a point. We defended really well and our shooting is getting stronger with every game we play. Strengths we pointed out were: Talked well, spread the ball, spread the ball and no travelling. Need to improve: Bounce passes, watching where we pass.

In the second quarter we were a little more tired and the other team shot to the lead by a long way. Strengths we pointed out were: No travelling, more bounce passes, defending well in the middle. Need to improve: Spreading out, talking and calling our team mates, not getting in front of the other team.

In the third quarter the girls were very competitive and continued to play in the pouring rain. They defended really well, marking their players and it paid off with the girls winning the third quarter. Their communication picked up and it seemed that they had a new lease of life for the game.

Strengths we pointed out were: Defended well, stole the ball heaps, were able to shoot, no travelling and bounce passes were used. Need to improve: Getting the ball more.

Fourth quarter we held on and although we didn’t win this quarter the other team only just snuck passed us. At the end of this quarter we talked about the whole game. With the help of the referee we chose Josie Porter as Player of the Week. She received this because of her defending skills and her use of bounce passing. Congratulations.

Training is Tuesday and Friday next week at 4.30pm. I promise to wear your child out for peace and quiet Friday night. No netball this weekend.

If you are unable to attend then please message me on 0447 219 193.

JUNIOR RUGBY LEAGUE REPORT

CROSS COUNTRY UNDER 6’S

We all had a great day playing footy in the rain although we complained about being itchy which I don’t blame them at all. It was a great game with Rylan scoring our only try. Great tackling and running again this week well done to you all. Our player of the week went to Jye Bates well done on your great tackling mate so proud of you and the rest of the team.

Kacie Neale

MERRIWA RSL UNDER 7’S

This week the Merriwa RSL Club Under 7’s travelled to Singleton to take on Singleton Red. Merriwa improved a bit this week especially with their tackling around the legs. Good work with putting in the effort at training last week, let’s keep it up. This week’s Player of the Week went to Riley Bristow for his great tackling and good straight runs. Good work Riley.

We do not have footy this weekend but I will still see you all at training.

Bruce Blackadder

KINGSLYN U/10’S

Last Saturday we travelled to Singleton to play Denman. Playing in the rain the kids had a good game. An improvement on the last game but still needing lots of training and practice to get were we want to. Denman beat us convincingly 48 - 0. Player of the Week went to Jyson Pike who had a great game never stopping, doing all he could to help his team, he made many tackles and was brilliant with the ball. We need lots of practice in defence, Damien Constable was great at rushing up off the line to tackle but needs the team to follow up to back him up, which we have been working on at training, we just need to keep practicing and remember on game days.

Belinda Keane

Merriwa OPENS – Thank you girls for always leaving the court with a smile. We haven’t managed to win a game yet but hopefully by the end of the season we might pull it off. Our last few games have been tough but nothing like when we played the 17’s Rep side going down 117-4, yes that score wasn’t a typo we got flogged. We still walked away with great attitude, although exhausted, we still laughed and come back the following week.

Saturday’s game saw us take on Define Style, although only getting in three quarters of the match I think it was the best we have played. By the time I arrived the heavens were just about to open. We played in conditions we haven’t seen for a while but no one was complaining about the much needed rain. We continued to try our absolute best with water up to our ankles. I thank you all for turning up each week and giving your best. Teianna, Paige, Alana, Elle, Megan, Libbie, Katrina and Katie. Next game - Saturday May 14, time to be advised.

MERRIWA DENMAN UNDER 14’S LEAGUE TAG

This season saw the start of junior league tag for Group 21. Unfortunately Merriwa couldn’t get enough numbers to field a side this year however, Denman struggled as well so the five Merriwa girls joined Denman. The last Friday night of the holidays the girls played Scone in Muswellbrook and played quite well but went down in a close match. Last Friday night the girls travelled to Scone and played a well drilled Singleton side. Singleton came away with the win but again the girls played well, showing some great skills in attack and defence, some even displaying promising kicking ability. Tamsin, Tamasyn, Mackenzie, Izabella and Tylana all seem to be enjoying themselves and they put in a lot of effort every week, never giving up like true Merriwa Magpie players. Good luck in your next match girls.
