Jennifer Cherry, Ludlow Gold Award Committee Member, Gold Award Committee Mentor, Camp Bonnie Brae’s 95th Anniversary Co-Chair As a member of the Gold Award Committee and co-chair of the Camp Bonnie Brae 95th Anniversary celebration, Jenn not only mentors girls working towards their Gold Awards, but her fellow committee members as well. Martha Gach, Shrewsbury Service Unit Manager, Service Unit Cookie Manager, Troop Leader, New Leader Trainer She never misses a beat when she is helping out the Girl Scouts of Shrewsbury as Service Unit Manager. In this role, she recruits and trains volunteers and oversees nearly 30 troops in her town. Paulette Billiel, Turners Falls Board of Directors, Gold Award Mentor, Cookie Cupboard, National Delegate Not only has she been a staff member for the Council, worked in the Cookie Cupboard, and served as a Gold Award mentor, but she has also been a national delegate, served on the former museum committee, acted as a trainer, and served as secretary on the Board of Directors for GSCWM. In the 15 years that she has been on the Committee, she has guided her girls with patience, optimism, and an expectation for a high level of achievement. Nancy Owens, Jefferson Gold Award Committee Member, Gold Award Committee Mentor She is an exemplary mentor to Girl Scouts and has helped girls working towards their Gold Awards grow their projects from good ones to great ones! Her actions have benefitted Girl Scouts in innumerable ways, leaving countless young women with wonderful memories of scouting and inspiring older scouts to reach their full potential. Jane Schroeder, Milford Gold Award Committee --- Lead Team Member, Gold Award Committee Mentor As a Girl Scout for most of her life, she is integral to the success of the Gold Award Committee, where she has held her position as the Lead Team Member for over a decade. She is always willing to go the extra mile, from attending site visit walkthroughs, coordinating the logistics for the Awards, and proofreading our event program booklet, to leading over 20 Go for Gold workshops in the past few years.
