the State Council issued the “Healthy China 2030

Outline”, which clarified the strategic theme of

trend, and new model. Develop Internet-based health service and encourage the

development of health examination, consultation to promote the development of

personalized health management service, nurturing a number of distinctive health

management service industry to promote wearable equipment, intelligent health

electronic products and healthcare mobile application service and so on.

Standardize the development of maternal and childcare service and cultivate

healthy cultural industry and sports medical rehabilitation industry. Develop health

care tourism industry standards and norms and build internationally competitive

health medical tourism destination. Vigorously develop Chinese Medicine Health

Tourism and build a number of well-known brands.

Secretary of Kunming Municipal Committee-CHENG Lianyuan:

Developing the health service and biopharmaceutical industry is Kunming’s

strength. Relying on the unique advantages of climate, ecology and

biodiversity in Kunming, we should accelerate development of healthcare

industry which focuses on biopharmaceuticals, healthcare service and health

and recreation and promote combination with senior care, tourism, internet,

fitness and food; making Kunming a national healthcare industry

demonstration zone.

Mayor of Kunming City– WANG Xiliang:

In order to develop the “Spring City”, it is important to speed up the

construction of key projects of tourism industry transformation and

upgrading. Kunming will develop healthcare tourism, and start to build

diverse senior care and healthcare tourism project–10 healthcare tourism

2016 is the first year that China builds a well-off society in an all-around way. On August 19th, 2016, National Health and Wellness Assembly was

held in Beijing which was a significant milestone – fully embodies the high attention of Chinese government for people’s health and the people-

centered development philosophy.

President Xi Jinping made an important speech in the assembly. He deeply expounded the significance of China’s heath construction from the strategic

height of the whole country. He explained strategic target and main task for the construction of Health China and pointed the way to promote the
