Welcome!Welcome to ¡Fiesta! de Willamette!

I’m so thankful you are here to support our wonderful school! Because of the hard work of many Willamette volunteers, this event is sure to be one our best auctions ever. We have items sure to suit all tastes and interests. How does a trip to Cozumel, Mexico sound? ..or Cortona, Italy? Perhaps attending a Timbers soccer match is more your style? We’ve got you covered, so take a look through your program and note the items you plan on taking home this evening. Of course, the art of our dear children will be the highlight of the evening. Each class has created a beautiful work of art to be auctioned off tonight. You will be dazzled by our children’s creations. This school auction is one of our most important fund raising efforts. Money raised tonight will support educational and enrichment experiences in our school for the next two years. Past PTA auctions have raised money for library books, art supplies, computers, field trips and artists-in-residence. Auction proceeds directly benefit Willamette children in many, many powerful ways. You are likely familiar with my appreciation for the strong, caring community we have in our school. Willamette children and parents are famous for reaching out to ensure the success of everyone in our school family. Tonight, however, I’m giving each of you the liberty to bring out your inner cut-throat competitor. Bidding rivalries are strongly encouraged. Think Ducks vs. Beavers, Ali vs. Foreman, Wile E. Coyote vs. Road Runner. Don’t let that perfect item get away! I hope you have a wonderful evening laughing with friends and supporting our school. Sincerely,

Dr. David PryorPrincipal
