Anatomy  and  Physiology  A  &  B    (3  weeks)      High  School  Courses   Grades  11-­‐12  Session  A  will  focus  on  the  integumentary,  skeletal,  muscular,  and  nervous  systems.  Through  hands-­‐on  interactive  activities,  understand  the  anatomical  structures  of  the  body  as  well  as  grasp  the  physiological  processes  in  these  systems.  Students  should  be  willing  to  work  with  preserved  specimens  in  some  of  the  activities  as  well  as  being  willing  participants  in  minor  physical  activities.  The  class  will  utilize  numerous  online  resources  as  well  as  computer  probes  to  help  gather  and  analyze  data.  Session  B  will  focus  on  the  circulatory,  respiratory,  excretory,  and  digestive  systems.  Students  will  explore  these  systems  through  hands-­‐on  activities  that  will  help  them  understand  their  anatomical  and  physiological  complexities.  Numerous  laboratory  experiences  and  working  with  preserved  specimens  will  aid  students  in  developing  a  solid  understanding  of  the  anatomy  and  physiology  of  these  systems.
