My father uses the expression “hindsight is 20/20,” meaning we always see clearly what we should have done after the fact rather than being so often alluded to do the best in the moment. How many times have you thought how you would do things differently in the past if you knew then what you know now? I shudder sometimes at what I didn’t know when I made some big decisions.

We may not be able to go back in time in a beefed-up DeLorean and change unpleasant things from our past, but we can learn to change our feelings about the past which negatively affect our thoughts and emotions today. We can create a reality for today as though the past negative things didn’t happen, which allows us to leave them behind and live in the present and, more importantly, not be defined by our past.

There is a step by step process to accomplish this. I won’t tease you and say something like “Six Easy Steps to…..” because, they may not be easy for you. But, they are effective if you employ them with determination and resolve.

1. Identification

Become aware when you mind is “talking” to you as though a separate personality took charge of your inner dialog. You hear the dialog, which is very often negative, anxious, angry, or hurt. You may even hear another part of your mind asking why you are thinking these thoughts. This is your subconscious mind revealing itself to your conscious mind. It is the fears of the subconscious mind which trap you in the past.

Learning to become aware of this when it is happening, and knowing it is the subconscious mind speaking, is key. The subconscious mind speaks practically all of the time. In fact, almost 90% of our thoughts come from there and we are mostly unaware of it. When we do have an opportunity to become aware of its presence, we must seize it in order to understand the reason for its core existence. Listen to what it is saying and, if you have pen and paper handy, or a smart phone record function, make a note in the form of something like,

“There is a part of me which still feels very angry towards…….” or “ There is a part of me which feel anxious about my job security.”

The first step in resolving past issues is to understand specifically what your subconscious mind is saying. Not all of the subconscious is bad. It also remembers how to drive a car, ride a bike, etc. among other things you learned. However, it is the negative thoughts which prevent our happiness we seek to find there and resolve.

If it’s your job security about which you are worried, you may think it is about the present or future and has nothing to the do with the past. But any worry or concerns come from negative past experiences even though they may not look like it. You may be consciously aware you are holding a grudge against someone, but listening to the subconscious mind when it speaks will reveal the underlying reasons why, which may surprise you.

2. GettotheTruth

This step and the following one may be the most arduous. We are emotional beings in our third dimensional form; we can feel vulnerable to harm. If we are not wholly connected to our Divine Source (and most of us aren’t) we believe we are our bodies, which can be harmed and cease to exist.

Our subconscious mind does not separate itself from our physical body and, therefore, can feel the need to protect itself and create illusions others may harm us, thereby creating the “victim mentality” which believes things are done to us and we don’t have any control over them.

The truth is when people are in pain, anger, etc. from the programs and thoughts in their own subconscious, they will act out those beliefs. If you happen to be around them when they implode or explode, you can find yourself in the line of fire. Still, they have not done it to you; they have simply done it. Even if they use your name when speaking their pain or frustration, it has nothing to do with you. This can be an abstract concept to understand,

Page 6: 2015 November/December Radiance Magazine

6 Radiance November/December 2015

especially if there is physical abuse accompanied by their outburst.

Even in the most painful circumstances, nothing is ever done to you; you are not a powerless victim. See the truth of your right to exercise your personal sovereignty and remove yourself from any situation which violates you. Walk away knowing the person violating you is only acting out of their pain of which you are not the cause nor the obligatory receiver.

Then get to your truth. What pain are you acting out and projecting upon someone else? If we are not the cause of their pain, they are not the cause of ours. Be accountable for your beliefs, thoughts and emotions and know that although family members may have initially programmed and conditioned you, it is up to you to discard that which brings you unhappiness. We not a victim of our mental conditioning AND we are accountable to be aware of our pain and not project it onto someone else as though it were their fault.

3. CreateCompassion

Once we are in a place of truth and know we each have pain from past experiences we carry around, we can demonstrate compassion for the pain in our hearts as well as theirs. This is the act of sending love to someone when they are yelling at you.

Imagine the power you will feel when someone lashes out at you and you can see them as someone in pain rather a villain and, more importantly, seeing yourself as someone who can help them rather than be their victim. You can open your heart and send them the love and light of Universe.

It is not fun to be on the receiving end of the explosion of their pain, but we need not absorb it and think it’s ours to bear. This is when we move past taking their actions personally. No matter how much they use our name and call out what we may or may not have done, it is still their pain speaking, which has nothing to do with us. Send them love; send them love.

Take stock into what they said and see if there is some action for which you need to be accountable, then send love to yourself and take the responsibility. Be kind, loving, tender, and compassionate with yourself. It is the only way you can consistently be in a place of power to do it for another. If there is something there for you to look at, then go back to Identification and Truth to find out what part of your subconscious is creating it. It can be daunting to look at our truth. If you are unable to get clear whether you had any contribution in the situation, continue with this step, giving yourself love and compassion until you are able to revisit steps 1 and 2 (Identification and Truth.)

4. EngageinApproval

Once we have seen our truth and are able to be compassionate, we can reprogram our beliefs. It is difficult to accept life-changing new beliefs with positive affirmations if we are still in denial of our negative feelings (not being in truth) or judging ourselves for our negative feelings (not being in compassion.)

You will know you are ready to start changing your limiting beliefs when you hear your inner dialog say something like, “Oh, I see now I felt threatened by that person when they did what they did, and in my fear, I lashed out. I forgive myself and give myself love for not having better tools that day, and in that situation. I see my contribution and understand why I did it.”

In truth and in compassion, we now have the ability to reprogram our thoughts with, “I approve of me. I am a good person. I always do my best. I did the best I could at the time with the tools I had. I am learning better tools every day. My best is good enough. I am lovable. I am acceptable. I am worthy”, etc. Continue repeating positive affirmations until you feel the “sting” of the situation resolved.

5. CreateHappiness

As you begin your journey of identifying your subconscious thoughts, discovering their truth, being kind to yourself, and having the ability to

Rev. Danielle Marie is a Master TheaHealer® who practices a healing art primarily on ThetaHealing®, but with several personal additions and modifications. Her sessions are life-changing, creating shifts in her clients’ perceptions resulting in the most positive changes imaginable. Rev. Danielle Marie has been a student of metaphysics since 2002 and studied under several mentors, including Vianna Stibal an Dr. Doreen Virtue. As

a metaphysical minister, she believes in the innate intuitive ability gifted to each of us. Teaching this and witnessing healings has become her life’s work and passion. She believes we can live free from pain and suffering and be in a state of peace and joy.

transform them into positive self-image programs, you get to have dessert – your personal brand of happiness. Every day, treat yourself to something wonderful, magical, joyful, and personally satisfying because you are worth it. This might mean baking a batch of chocolate chips cookies and watching “Love Actually” with Colin Firth, Hugh Grant, and Liam Neeson for the 15th time (or is this just me?). It might mean taking a wonderful nap, going for a walk on the beach, or reading a book.

Creating happiness means precisely this; do things and be with people who make you happy. Ask yourself about your relationships, your job, where you live, everything about your life and find out how it ranks on the “Happiness Scale.” It doesn’t mean being irresponsible or dispassionate for another if you need to make changes. It means setting an example for others. We all have a responsibility to engage in acts of happiness.

6. StayAwareofBeingPresent

When you create happiness on a regular basis, you will have the ability to be more keenly and swiftly aware of when your subconscious mind talks to you negatively.

What I have learned by doing this process is now I find it exciting when I “overhear” my subconscious mind talking because I know what will follow. I will get to a truth, learn something powerful about myself, become more intimate with who I am, and find another level of compassion and love for myself, which gives me more space to be happy.

I see these thoughts as gifts because I trust in the process of each revelation turning into something positive.

If you follow these steps, your subconscious will begin to watch the process and learn it’s something empowering, not frightening. You will have reconditioned your subconscious mind. Over time, it will learn to work with you instead of resist you. When your subconscious mind learns it is part of your higher self (which continues to exist in perpetuity) rather than working under the assumption it is a part of your body

(which can be harmed or cease to exist), its true power gets released rather than being shackled in fear. It will no longer use past experiences as its primary source of information to gain a sense of safety.

This will result in the cessation of recreating of past images. The subconscious mind learns to live in the present trusting each situation will be a new opportunity to experience without fear. It will close the book on the past and no longer use it to define the present and future. When we learn to live in the moment with joy, compassion, self-worth, and happiness, the (negative) past has no meaning, no power, no truth. It is as if it never happened.

As a postscript to this article I am guided to share another benefit of learning to live in the present and not in the past. Upon practicing these steps and teaching the subconscious mind its true nature (part of higher self and not part of the body) we unleash its power. Now rather than having almost 90% of our mind feeling separate and afraid, it is now more integrated and empowered. We have access to more of our mind rather than 10-20% of it. Imagine doubling or tripling the power of your mind. Think what you can accomplish, especially with this kind of power being based in compassion, love, trust, and happiness!

I was introduced to my Spirit guide years ago and my life has never been the same. It was already different having been an engineer for 30 years (the last 13 in Aerospace). My move into energy healing was as far a shift into the right brain as aerospace was to the left. It was no surprise my guide Xenanthium creates Galaxies and he has given me many channelings about them. Since I began channeling Xenanthium, I have found each channeled writing becomes more profound. I believe the latest encapsulates life on Earth as simple and elegantly as I have seen!

"Incarnation as a human is a state of separation from the whole into a state of individuality. The mind is the proverbial “veil” which intercepts the connection to Source. If there was not a mind to create the illusion of individual consciousness, there would not be separation for the purposes of individual experience. Even though the mind is an incredible tool which can hold a Universe of potential to support our individual and collective illusions, there is a part of our soul which never loses its connection to Source! This separation from creates a void, a longing, and a knowing of something greater than ourselves. In our new found smallness, we see the world and the Universe in wonder. We can hardly believe we could have any part in the creation we experience.

"In our smallness, we choose to build ourselves up by exemplifying the mind. We believe the mind is our higher self and everything beyond it becomes our mind's creation. The more power we give to it, the less we can see beyond it. The mind perceives the void created by our separation by creating a being worthy enough to fill the magnitude of the void we carry inside. God is created by the mind or man and created in our image, not the reverse. Our creation allows us to continue through our illusion.

"Our gods have evolved as we have. In the beginning they were as intolerant, vengeful, and petty as we were. There were many gods assigned to our virtues or foibles - reflections of ourselves to help us see the truth hidden in plain sight. We are bubbles of consciousness from the Source. We co-create everything. We are creators, explorers, and actors designing and weaving endless tapestries of existence, filling the infinite conscious energy. All experiences end in love because this is the constant upon which the Universe is founded. Our experiences may lead us down loveless paths, but they will always return to love when we are all again united in the infinite ocean of loving consciousness."

If you think about what Xenthanium presents, it takes the concept many now believe on how ”we” design the life we live before we incarnate and adds the concept we also design the characteristics of what our Creator will be like during our time on Earth. It certainly explains why there have been so many gods and how, over time, they are abandoned or changed and evolve to mirror us!

Every soul shall have to bear the exact consequences of its actions.

He goes on to say . . .The Law of Karma is a self-operating law of cause and effect. A seed sown must sprout. Whatever you sow now, you will have to reap either in this birth or the next. Every action produces reaction, which in turn produces further reactions and this vicious circle goes on forever.

The germane item of note regarding karma is that it is a law. It is not a frivolous concept, guideline or whim of imagination to be discarded as if it had no bearing on our lives or actions. Laws are not arbitrary. And although man's laws are capricious, malleable and changeable, natural laws, especially Divine laws, are not. They are absolute, unchangeable, immutable, inexorable. As humans, we don't get to choose whether we're affected by them or not. And directly to the point – we don't get to choose whether we're affected by karmic law or not. We are bound by it, bound to it, regardless of whether we're a king, queen, president,

Karma. Who is there who has never heard the word, karma? Who is there who has never used the word karma flowing freely from their lips in common conversation? Who is

there who truly understands what karma means? Who is there who actually lives by karmic law?

Is it not beyond the realm of fact to say that if people really understood karma, they would not be doing what they're doing every second of every day of their lives? Is it not beyond the realm of fact to say that most of us simply give lip service to the idea of karma rather than following its precept? Is it also not accurate to say that karma is a philosophy lightly discussed, but universally ignored by the masses?

What is karma? Saint Sawan Singh (19th/20th Century) proclaims . . .The law of karma is the principal law of the creation: as the action, so is the reward.

Saint Jagat Singh, a 20th Century mystic states . . .The law of karma is universal. It is the fixed and immutable law of nature. Each soul must reap what it has sown.

celebrity, pop star, commoner, pauper, man, woman or child. No one escapes karmic law, no one.

Yet, do we not go through life minute to minute, moment to moment, oblivious to the reality of the law of karma? It's as if we think we're special, that somehow we are not bound by our actions, our thoughts, our motives. It's almost as if we mock karmic law, which is a tragic flaw in us, is it not?

From the Bible, Galatians 6:7, we read . . .Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Think of the power of this statement, deeply think about it, deeply. "For whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." This means that we will have to experience everything we do or say or think. We will not be able to escape the consequences of our thoughts and deeds. They will rebound to us in a heap of reaping in spite of any weeping we will endure.

If we lie, cheat, steal, deceive, betray, adulterate, berate, manipulate, hate, love, support, encourage, nurture, purify – whatever we do, we will experience the exact same thing, inescapably.

Saint Jagat Singh declares . . . Not even a single grain that inadvertently enters your granary from a neighbor's field can go unaccounted. You simply must pay for what you get. The law is inviolable and it cannot be set aside. The payment may be either in kind, in coin or by transfer of an equivalent good karma, but payment there must be.

Buddha affirms . . . If you fear pain, if you dislike pain, don't do an evil deed in open or secret. If you're doing or will do an evil deed, you won't escape pain: it will catch you even as you run away.

Saint Ravidas (15th/16th Centuries) echoes Buddha's statement with this offering . . . The fruit of action unfailingly overtakes the doer.

Saint Dariya of Bihar (17th/18th Centuries) proclaims The sower of the poison cannot but be engulfed in the poison.

Saint Sawan Singh (19th/20th Centuries) reminds us . . .The Karmic Law is inexorable and operates without regard to persons.

and . . .The Karmic Law is supreme and inevitable and the sooner we reconcile ourselves with it the better.

Saint Charan Singh (20th Century) admonishes . . . Karma – nobody can escape, whether one believes it or not.

Saint Dadu Dayal (16th Century) voices these thoughts . . . What you have not done will never befall you. Only what you have done will befall you.

and . . .

What has been done before appears now; what is done now will appear hereafter.

And so it goes – from Saint to Saint, age to age, culture to culture – the truth of karma is always the same. It is not affected by monarchial edicts, presidential decrees, political correctness, group think, angry protestations or the endless changing of tides within the mercurial mind of man and mankind. Truth is truth and truth never changes. That's why it's truth. The truth of karma is that whatever we put onto the circle of life will, without fail, circle back to encircle us eventually, at some time in some life. Therefore, if we're wise and sentient we will not give lip service to anything we do or say, but rather be ever mindful of what we sow – in thought, word and deed – because whatever we sow we shall reap. This is the law of this creation and it is inexorable, immutable, extant and eternal.

So how does the truth of karma manifest in our lives? Simple.

If we lie, we will be lied to.

If we kill, we will be killed.

If we love, we will be loved.

If we abort, we will be aborted.

If we cheat, we will be cheated.

If we betray, we will be betrayed.

If we nurture, we will be nurtured.

If we steal, we will be stolen from.

If we support, we will be supported.

If we adulterate, we will be adulterated.

If we deceive others, we will be deceived.

<< continued from page 11

Whatever we do will be done to us. This is the truth of karma, and no one escapes it. No one.

It cannot be more simple. What we do will be done to us at some future time. By karmic law it is impossible for the reaping not to follow the sowing. Thus, there is perfect justice in the world, regardless of thought to the contrary. Therefore, it would be extremely prudent for us to think and reflect on our actions before we execute them. If we want a good life, a happy life, a harmonious life, we must live karma, not give lip service to it.

REAPINGWEEPING* 1998 by Richard Andrew King

From 99 Poems of the Spirit

Forever have we planted seeds,--the fetters of our keeping;

and now we find ourselves distraught, distressed, and reaping weeping.

We close our eyes and shun the Law,unconcerned of havoc wreaking;

and now, with storms upon us,we cry unceasing, reaping weeping.

So immersed in petty selvesand in life's treasures we were stealing,

we never paused to ponderthat one day we'd be reaping weeping.

It's hard to feel sympathyfor those who spend defeating

the very purpose of this lifeas they scream, reaping weeping.

We do have choices in this life, and if it's Goodness we wish keeping,

then we should watch the seeds we're plantingor we'll be reaping weeping.

JUSTICE* 1998 by Richard Andrew King

From 99 Poems of the Spirit

Logic doesn't rule the world. The Law of Karma does.

It is the way the world workssince the world was.

In counterpoint to justice lackingin this world of women, men;in Truth, there's total justicefrom beginning to the end,

For Justice rules through karma, not through human laws.Justice is Divinely based;its roots in Godly Cause.

Think not there is no justice. There is, but we're confinedto understand its workingsfrom this side of the Blind.

Remember, karma is inexorable. Its justice is unflawed. There never is injustice

in the Hallowed Halls of God.

CHOURY DE VELLE, BSC, CHT, NLPChoury grew up in a house of alcoholism and physical abuse and learned 'the hard way' resentment is the tie which binds the victim to the victimizer. Almost everyone has something in their past which holds them back from realizing their true potential. Old fears can manifest in sickness, self-sabotage, and violence if a person feels threatened What most people don't understand is those roadblocks to success are old beliefs based on lack and limitation buried deep within the subconscious mind. Most of the time, the victim doesn't know how or why those beliefs got started. Standard psycho therapy is one way to let go of the past, uncover, and release old beliefs and fears. He believes the quickest, most effective way is through hypnosis. In hypnosis, we can access the subconscious mind and change the programming from fear, sickness, lack, and limitation to courage, health, abundance, and wealth. Compared to standard psycho therapy, we do it quickly. Once old beliefs are released, the person is free to live the life of their dreams. 714.624.1956; [email protected]; www.orangecounty/hypnosiscenter.com

Mike motioned to the address card sitting on the dispatch desk and said, "You've

got one pick-up at the Sheraton tonight." Barely looking up from his crossword puzzle, he adjusted the baseball hat which covered the recent hair transplants on his scalp. The visor cast a shadow over the bandage on his nose. Now that his limo business was in the black, one of his goals was to get his beak, as he referred to it, fixed. My guess is the plastic surgeon threw in the hair transplant as part of the deal from which Mike couldn’t refuse.

A Miracle on Gower Street

“Bachelorette Party?" I asked.

"Not sure." He mumbled, barely looking up. "The girl sounded like a man."

“It’s not another group of Cross dressers again?' I asked.

"If you don't want it, I’ll give it to Fred. He was looking for a fare tonight. I told him he could have it if he got back by five. He should be back soon."

I said, "I'll take it,” as I snatched the card.

"I thought so. Take Limo 13, it’s clean.”

"Thanks, Mike. Lucky number 13.

I'm not superstitious," I yelled dashing out the door. Even though it was the nicest looking limo, none of the drivers liked it. Other than a few minor incidents, my experience with it was good. I needed the money and tonight was just as good a night as any to make some bucks.

I got to the Sheraton on time; the girls were late getting to the Limo. I didn't care. I was on the clock and had nothing but time. The girls filed into the car, each one immaculately “dressed to the nines.” Trish, the girl paying for the limo, said they were fitness instructors who worked at her prestigious fitness academy

back east.

She gave me the address of the night club and off we went.

In spite of the fact they were all beautiful, it was obvious by their behavior they were gay. Several of them were making out in the back of the limo before we left the Sheraton. Even though we were only a block from the 405 Freeway and the traffic looked decent for a Friday, I opted to take La Cienega to Hollywood to make sure there weren't any traffic delays.

I pulled up in front of the well known gay-bar on Gower Street, turned on the flashers, put the car in park and rushed to the rear door to let them out.

"I want to make sure I take care of you now before I get smashed," Trish said as she handed me three one hundred dollar bills.

"You don't have to do this," I said, snatching the crisp bills and shoving them into my pocket. "But thank you!"

"We'll be here for a few hours. But, then again", she smiled, “depending on the action, we could wind up here all night!"

"I'll be parked a block from here." I assured her, “You have my pager number. Just call it and enter 411. I'll be here in a heartbeat."

"Done!" she said, closing her purse and kissing me on the cheek.

"Nice!" I chuckled, driving to the grocery store parking lot.

Two hours later, Trish paged me. They wanted to eat and then go to another Hollywood club. By 2:00

a.m., they were all drunk. Trish was flirting with me and one of the girls didn’t like it – at all.

"Cindy's pissed at me," Trish mumbled as she opened the passenger side front door, “I'm riding up front with you. Take us to the hotel, honey." Poking her head through the partition, she said, "We’re going to the hotel!"

I wasn't sure if Trish was flirting to make Cindy jealous or if she was interested in me. I didn't care. It was a good night. I made a three hundred dollar tip and was happy to get them home and call it a night.

I dropped them at the hotel, got back to the lot and was about to put the keys into the dropbox, when I remembered I never took the money out of my coat. I reached inside the left pocked and the money wasn’t there. I knew this coat had a hole in the right pocket so I was careful not to put anything in that pocket. However, in my haste to accept the large tip, I forgot and put the three hundred dollars in the right pocket. "Don't worry!” I mumbled, “it's a tiny hole. The money is there.”

Still holding the keys, I reached into my right pocket but didn't feel the bills. I let go of the keys to get a better feel. The keys fell into the pocket and the sound of the keys hitting the ground made my heart stop. “Holy crap!" I yelled loud enough so a street person half a block away looked in my direction. "What the f--k happened to the little hole? There's no bottom to my right pocket! I can't be that stupid!!!"

I retraced my steps. I went back

to the car and began an hour long search, under every seat, front and back, trying to remember what I did with those crisp one hundred dollar bills, praying I put them in my wallet or the glove box, anywhere but my right coat pocket. The money was gone.

After I was done cursing, I drove back to the Sheraton Hotel. I looked everywhere to see if I dropped the money on the ground when I brought them to the hotel. Of course, it wasn't there. From the hotel, I went back downtown to the last club, got out and looked in front of the club, to no avail.

"What the hell are you doing?" I grumbled as I got back in the limo. "Even if you retraced every step, do you honestly think those one hundred dollar bills would still be on the street? Have you lost your mind?" Its 5:00 a.m. and I’m driving around looking for a miracle!

I realized how ridiculous I was. I couldn't believe I could be that stupid. "Oh well, I guess I'll just have to find another way to make the $300. I started driving back to the office and, as I passed Gower Street, I remembered when she gave me the money. It was in front of the first club. By now hundreds, maybe thousands, of people had been in that spot. Surely someone saw the money and picked it up. Then I clearly remembered feeling something land on my shoe after I put the money in my pocket.

"Damn it!" I yelled hitting the steering wheel with both hands. “If

I had looked down, I would have seen the money. Moron!!"

The sun was rising and the big white trucks with wire brushes spinning behind their wheels were making Hollywood look cleaner than it is.

Even though rational thinking had come to my brain, I felt compelled to finish what I started. I had to go back to the first club.

As I rounded the corner on Gower, I saw an old man slowly pushing a grocery cart along the gutter. He was wearing several coats and an old beat up hat with ear muffs. He had on black shoe on one foot and a brown one on the other. Both were too big. His grocery cart was filled with blankets and cardboard and he stopped periodically to pick up items of interest. As I neared the club, the street cleaning truck driver honked his horn to warn me to get out of his way; he didn't want to stop. I started to pull away and noticed the old man bending down to pick up something waving in the morning breeze. It was at the exact location where Trish had given me the money. I thought about telling him that money was mine, but I couldn't.

"This guy needs it much more than me," I whispered, "but I better help him get off the street before the impatient street cleaner driver scoops him up along with the trash.

I put on the flashers, got out of the car, and took a deep breath thinking he's probably going to smell bad. He was a five-year-old child in a man's body. The innocence in his eyes

disarmed me as I guided him and his cart to the sidewalk.

"Thank you," he said, wiping his nose then offering his hand.

I hesitated to shake his hand but did it anyway. "Take care of yourself," I whispered, wiping my hand on my pants and started back towards the limo. As I stepped off the curb, I saw something in the headlights on the street. "No freaking way!" There they were, in all their amazingly crisp, green, beautiful glory: three one hundred dollar bills just waiting for me to pick them up.

"I thought you picked them up," I said as I turned around to the old man, who had disappeared.

With his horn blaring and arm waving, the street cleaner was closing in. I hurriedly put the money in my left pocket this time and sped away. Laughing, I rolled down the window and then shouted at the sky, "Wow, what a night. Thank you God!"

Is something holding you back from realizing your true potential? Fears can manifest into sickness, self-sabotage, and violence if you

feel threatened What most people don't understand is these roadblocks to success are old beliefs based on lack and limitation buried deep within the subconscious mind. Most of the time, the victim doesn't know how or why those beliefs got started .Choury believes the quickest, most effective way is through hypnosis to access the subconscious mind and change the programming from fear, sickness, lack, and limitation to courage, health, abundance, and wealth which is quicker than standard psychotherapy. 714.624.1956; c h o u r y d @ y a h o o . c o m ; www.orangecounty/hypnosiscenter.com

the healing process. I can see them;my clients can see and feel them clearly.

Many other healing modalities aren't clear about who or what is healing you. If you cannot clearly see or feel from where the energy is coming, don't let it into your energy field.

Many people who use these modalities were taught to follow them precisely, and without question. Many inexperienced practitioners may not have proper discernment to see the origins of what they are channeling.

Always ask your guides and angels to help you learn the proper discernment. Remember, if something doesn't feel right to you, trust your intuition.

3. We are energetic beings who feel with our bodies. If you feel a lot of energy moving through you during a healing session, it does not necessarily mean it is energy of the highest vibration.

My friend who had the Bars experience said she could feel energy moving up and down her spinal column and across her head during the session. She

Margo MateasLife Action PlanAvoiding Spiritual Parasites

As an energy worker and cosmic shaman, friends call me when something doesn't feel right, they develop a headache, or “feel off” for no reason. One called after she had a “Bars run” (a healing modality by “Access Consciousness”) and she woke up with a weird pain in the back of her head. When I checked her energy field, I saw a large, energetic parasite attached at the base of her neck.

I saw the same thing on another friend who called with a bad headache on Easter. She had attended a large spiritual gathering the night before.

I removed them both from my friends' energy fields and cautioned them about closing their auras before leaving home.

Following are some tips to protect yourself from unwanted energetic invaders:

1. Be aware when going into a crowd, especially a "spiritual" crowd, without first collapsing your aura which is no more than an arm’s length away from you. Imagine or say, “Aura collapse and get smaller." Imagine it collapsing.

Because people are often wide open when they go to spiritual

events, the space where it is held can be an "all-you-can eat" buffet for energies and entities looking to receive good energy, unless the host spends the time and energy to clear and clean.

If you are sensitive, you will know quickly if the space is clean. Angels and guides are perfectly safe, but they are not the only beings out there. Be sure to collapse your aura and energy field to anything but your highest and best good before you enter any gathering or public place.

2. Be in your power and avoid giving anyone access to your energy field unless you completely trust them AND the modality they are using. This means doing your homework and researching what they are doing/channeling prior to opening to it. Other than Reiki, I would never allow any healing techniques to be used on me until I thoroughly researched it.

Also, I do not allow any energy of alien origin into my energetic matrix. I work with the Archangels who have a high, pure vibration, and reveal themselves completely during

assumed it was healing energy; this is not always the case.

In contrast, while receiving something I do called an “Angelic Soul Clearing,” people report feeling subtle movements in their energy. They feel lighter and a release; sometimes they feel warmth in their chakras. However, they do not feel all kinds of energy moving through them as it is happening.

Angelic energies are subtle and of high frequency. If your body is bouncing around during your session, chances are energy is not coming from a high source.

4. Honor and cherish your energy; it is the Universe's highest form of currency. Entities on and off earth use it for food, gold, life, and all kinds of yummy stuff. It is precious and a portal, so guard it carefully.

5. It is unwise to EVER let anyone inject themselves into your energy field. No one should touch your body or start “running energy” on you without your permission. If a healing arts practitioner offers to “reconnect” you and takes an arm and slashes it across your chest like a sword, they have broken into your energy field. You may be connected to something other than the highest source. Research the healing method, the person doing it, the organization which claims to have created it,

and people who started it to see if there are red flags. Again, trust your intuition. If it doesn’t feel right, don’t allow the session or take the training.

A professional healer or psychic will always ask permission to enter your energy field. If you feel any hesitation for any reason, walk away. Collapse your energy field after allowing the healing work, so other energies will not attach to you while you are in an open state.

Take responsibility for your energy and guard it carefully. Symptoms

Magnetic Reversals and Evolutionary Leaps

All planetary life is held and sustained by the earth’s magnetic fields. Our thoughts, feelings

and memories are supported by them. Our physical bodies are linked with etheric, astral, and causal bodies through these fields. Our memories of the past and sense of human identity could not exist without them. Our collective history is recorded within subconscious fields of memory which direct and influence our evolutionary journey as a species.

Scientists tell us earth's magnetic fields have been weakening during the last 2,000 and has accelerated

during the past 400 years, and continues. About 10% of this decline took place between the 1800’s and the turn of the century with a further 5% drop between 2000 and 2010, and another 5% decline over the past five years. The rate is increasing exponentially.

Not only is the geomagnetic field of the earth weakening, but also the poles have been drifting into new positions at an accelerating pace. The current movement of the north magnetic pole is towards Siberia at the incredible speed of approximately 50 kilometers a year. Ben Davidson and Mitch Battros provide graphic evidence on their

website, http://Magneticreversal.org, of this global phenomenon.

Scientists worldwide recognize this phenomenon follows a regular and predictable cycle, and is usually followed by a sudden reversal of magnetic polarity, where the poles switch. It is usually preceded by a period when the north-south magnetic axis breaks down into two or three separate magnetic axes, which is currently happening. Although there is still debate about what the exact periodicity of these reversals might be, science researcher Robert Felix presents evidence this could be linked with

so-called Milankovitch cycles and could be as short as 11,500 years or 12,000 years (See http://Evolutionaryleaps.com).

We are told the reversal process could take place within a single human lifetime, and once the fields begin to collapse, the final phase of reversal could happen within a matter of hours or days.

Astrophysicist Paul LaViolette links the periodicity of magnetic reversals on earth with recurring bursts of galactic superwaves which emanate as a pulse of cosmic and gamma rays from the center of our galaxy every 10-14 thousand years. As these superluminal bursts of cosmic rays pass through our solar system, it generates a sequence of events within our sun, which then impacts the magnetic fields of all planets in our solar system, including the earth.

We are told the last reversal took place approximately 11,500 years ago, which leads to the possibility the next reversal could take place anytime. A reversal generally takes place when the magnetic fields of the earth drop down to about 15% or 20% of their original field strength, which at the rate of current exponential collapse could happen within the next five or 10 years!

So what does this mean for humanity and the earth? Many of us have been experiencing an increasing sense of disorientation and chaos in our emotional, mental, and physical bodies, intense

emotional upheavals, breakdowns of the nervous and immune systems, an increasing sense of disorientation, loss of memory, and distortion of personal identity, often accompanied by powerful kundalini activations and psychic awakenings, all of which is reflected in our collective psyche as well.

About seven years ago, I journeyed to Guatemala with Maya priests, Norbert and Christina Muigg, to seek out Don Alejandro Cirilo, head of the Mayan Council of Elders. I was curious about what people had said about the Mayan calendar as a map of human consciousness, and what some had referred to as the end of the Mayan calendar in 2012.

Don Cirilo expressed displeasure many New Age researchers had used the Mayan teachings as a springboard for speculations which had nothing to do with the Mayan calendar or tradition. He cautioned us not to get caught up in doomsday scenarios or linear dates, and shared their most important prophecy, a period known as "the three days

of darkness," during which a great shift would happen within the consciousness of humanity.

He emphasized this was not something of which to be afraid, but something which we have eagerly awaited for thousands of years. These three days referred to a tunnel between the worlds, culminating in the birth of a new species of humanity, homo luminous.

It appears the last phase of a magnetic field collapse happens quickly, within ours or days, following which the magnetic field reverses polarity. Could Don Cirilo’s three days of darkness be referring to this last phase of magnetic field collapse and reversal?

If so, what might we expect during these three days? If our subtle bodies are linked together through magnetic fields, what would happen as these magnetic fields collapse and reorient? If our sense of identity is based on a continuity of thoughts, feelings and memories anchored within the magnetic fields of the earth, what would happen

Page 33: 2015 November/December Radiance Magazine

as these fields of memory unravel?

There is a matrix of collective human c o n d i t i o n i n g we plugs into the moment we are incarnated on this planet. Like all fields, this matrix is electromagnetic. Over the past few cycles of history, this matrix has been programmed by rigid expressions of greed, violence and fear, creating a veil of separation and duality which ancient Vedic seers referred to as maya.

Is it possible as we make the transition through the three days of darkness, this electromagnetic matrix of maya could fall away, allowing us the experience of recalibrating our identities in accordance with a higher field of consciousness, or soul matrix?

There is a new electromagnetic matrix of which many of us are becoming aware. It is an evolutionary matrix which carries informational codes for activating new levels of genetic potential. Over 100 years ago, the mystic seer Sri Aurobindo referred to a supramental descent soon to take place, where unified fields of light would penetrate the heart of matter, resulting in tremendous leaps of evolutionary potential and the creation of entire new species on earth, including a new species

of humanity which he referred to as the divine human.

My sense is although most humans may end up falling ‘asleep’ during this transition, those who are able to attune to these supramental fields will journey through these days in full awareness, thus serving as a bridge between the worlds, consciously participating with the forces of galactic creation in the next evolutionary leap.

Contrary to Darwin’s hypothesis, evolution does not happen in a ‘slow and stately’ manner. What current scientific research shows, leaps are swift and dramatic evolutionary directly linked with magnetic reversals. When the earth's magnetic fields collapse, so does the magnetic shielding which keeps at bay the storm of solar and cosmic radiation constantly moving through interplanetary space. In the brief time surrounding a magnetic reversal, highly amplified levels of cosmic radioactivity pour down through our unprotected atmospheric belts, creating a ripple

of biological mutations across the earth, skies and seas. Many species go extinct and new species are birthed in a single generation.

Earlier cycles of magnetic reversal were accompanied by peaks in earthquake and volcanic activity, which created widespread and often cataclysmic planetary changes. In the cycle immediately prior to our own, we also experienced a displacement of crustal plates, which led to the sinking and rising of continents.

I believe the degree of catastrophic change experienced during a magnetic reversal has to do with the collective consciousness existing on the planet during that time. I feel there is a unified field of light currently anchored within the fields of Gaia which will help make this current transition smooth. But, we must remember we have evolved to a stage where we are not passive observers in a random chain of events.

In the grand plan of planetary evolution, humans are the nervous system of Gaia, conduits between galactic forces and earth's living intelligence. We are taking our place as conscious co-creators for a new stage of evolution. To the extent we are able to align ourselves with cosmic and galactic forces, allowing these fields of intelligence to channel through our physical bodies, we become active participants in this process.

Evolution and involution are two expressions of the same movement. The evolution of life on earth has to do with a series of genetic mutations within the matrix of Gaia’s evolving consciousness. Meanwhile, the Self is on a journey of involution, awakening to itself within the consciousness of matter. As we refine our nervous systems, we become a bridge between worlds. The radioactivity unleashed during a magnetic reversal can then be directed with conscious intent towards the creation of a new multi-dimensional species of humanity.

These three days of darkness could be an unprecedented opportunity for creator consciousness to incarnate into matter. Within the human stream of evolution, this could initiate the next stage of our evolution as the homo luminous or divine human. If we can remain conscious during the magnetic reversal, it might allow a certain individuals to evolve into a further stage of evolution which Sri Aurobindo referred to as the supramental human.

Scientists tell us under certain conditions the pineal gland produces massive amounts of DMT, which is the same substance contained in plant medicines such as ayahuasca. The presence of DMT opens doorways between the worlds which are used by shamans for multidimensional access. When a person dies, and the heart stops, the magnetic field normally generated by the heart collapses. As this heart-generated magnetic field collapses, DMT is spontaneously generated within the pineal gland, which opens a doorway between worlds so the person can exit from the physical body and move into subtler levels of existence.

This same DMT is also produced by the pineal gland when the earth’s magnetic field weakens or collapses. What is likely to happen during the three days of darkness Don Cirilo spoke about? The spike in DMT experienced on a collective level could open dimensional doorways between the worlds, intensified by the massive amounts of radioactivity raining down from the skies as the magnetic shields temporarily collapse.

There are certain receptors in the brain known as cannabanoid receptors. It has been discovered that when these receptor sites become saturated by the production of DMT, a person or lifeform becomes immune to the ill effects of nuclear radiation. Is it possible during a magnetic reversal these receptor sites become saturated by the collective activation of DMT such that our DNA can mutate

positively under the direction of a higher planetary or galactic intelligence?

We may discover as we collectively pass through the magnetic reversal, we are no longer subject to the programming held within the subconscious matrix of human history.

As we release old identities based on illusion and fear, we pierce through the veils of maya and take our place as divine humans, wide-browed creators within the field of creation, expressing the full potential of our vast multidimensional presence within a new race of humanity.

We are midwives, along with the planetary consciousness known as Gaia, for a new wave of creation. What kind of world do we wish to create?

??

I laughed out loud, although I shouldn't have. She was a cute, curly blonde hair , petite, maybe 3 years old. She had on the cutest dress with a Christmas print, white tights, and shiny Mary Jane shoes to complete the perfect picture.

Her Dad was clearly a work-a-day type. Gnarled and whiskered, there were paint spatters flecking his plaid shirt and blue jeans. As they walked into the black Friday store, Dad said, "Look at all the people!"

And in a cute, tiny voice with a little-kid accent, the delicate princess exclaimed loudly, "No Shit!"

My coffee almost exploded all over me. Red-faced and embarrassed, the Dad bent close to his daughter and gave her a loving reminder: "Now Chelsea, we don't say those bad words in public."

I wondered if it was okay in private? With wide eyes she nodded, confused and overwhelmed by the bustle of the store.

In the 70s, George Carlin made famous seven words you can't say on TV. However, if you ask anyone, there are more than seven we classify as expletives. When we are kids, we rejoice in their delicious sounds. From "doo-doo head" and "poopy" of childhood to the rude mother-degrading curses of teens, we thrill at the obvious insults. It's not just an American thing; I have seen comedic dictionaries about how to curse in every language.

By Mitch Rosenzweig

We classify them as "bad" words. Never to be spoken, especially not in public.

Of course no words are really "bad." They are just sounds on our tongue or letters on a page. It is in the meaning and context the moralistic value occurs. We can exclaim about abundant waste in a toilet but we better not say someone is full of it. It's all about the context.

I had to re-train my brain after military stints where bad words are sprinkled throughout conversations. I once heard a Platoon Sergeant use 14 in a single sentence. And I understood and agreed with what he said – and how he said it. I shook his confused hand in congratulations. Bad.

What I don't understand is why other, non-curse words aren't considered bad: such as "hate," "unemployed," "addiction," "kill," and others which produce a visceral response in any setting. We don't use them in polite society. I will avoid further examples but I am sure you know many far worse than "doody-head."

As parents and polite adults, we teach our children and train ourselves to avoid using bad words. Even though the best of us occasionally drop an "f-bomb," most of us don't cuss like drunken merchant marines. We realize that as reserved and thoughtful adults there are better ways to express our emotions – until you stub your toe. Then the raw instinct forces us to damn something to the nether regions. I'm not holier-than-thou; I

Oh, Fudge am just as likely to slip one in now and then like sh*t, damn, and hell. Somehow, "doo-doo happens," or "oh, fudge" just doesn't cut it.

Let's create a list of the seven words we must say? Wouldn't it be important to teach our children those words? Wouldn't it be amazing to see a dad stooping to teach his to child to say, "Holy love!"?

My list of seven words would be: love, faith, caring, peace, giving, forgiveness, and thanks. I'm willing to bet we have as many reasons to say them in public. Maybe they are prohibited since I rarely hear them.

Today, I am going to offer my seven every chance I get and let people know how I feel. If I offend, so be it. I don't need a filter. I will pepper my conversation with them and shock people. Even when I stub my toe, I will offer thanks for having a toe to stub. OK, well, maybe after I cuss and fuss a bit.

Do you have a pet you still miss deeply? Are you wondering if it is your animal’s “time?”

In a bittersweet way, end-of-life is a perfect time to call an animal communicator. Elderly or ill animal friends often have important messages for their people. Following are two great examples:

Cooper’sDecision

I had the privilege of talking to an old dog named Cooper who became very ill. Cooper had been given up three times before finding Dana. She wanted to know how to know when it was time to let him go, and if he had anything to say. The noble soul thanked his woman for mending his broken heart, (he showed me two ragged halves of a heart being melded together), showed us a picture of what he would do when it was time, but It was clear he in no way wanted a long suffering.

He came to her one day shortly after our call and rested his head in her hands. She knew this was his signal.

ACatwithMoretoGive

Another client called me last

acceptance they had afforded her.

The day she passed away, Ginger gave more love messages to her owner. Afterwards, the youngest child picked two black kittens to adopt.

As mom was signing the adoption paperwork, she thought longingly of dear old Ginger. Suddenly, she heard the woman next to her pick up her own new adoptee and overheard her call the cat, “Ginger.”

My client said, “I had to look. And, of course, the orange cat looked nothing like my Ginger. But I knew it was a sign from her that she loves us and approved of our choice.”

Christmas with her 17-year-old cat, Ginger that appeared to have had a stroke and was walking in circles. My client wondered if it was time to put Ginger to sleep?

When I checked in, Ginger adamantly said, “No.” She was a reticent cat that spent much of her life sleeping contentedly on my client’s bed.

After this, Ginger spent the remainder of the session thanking her owner for loving her unconditionally. It was not her time, but she suggested the family get a new cat or two soon after she passed. Ginger clearly told me the youngest child was the most sensitive person in the house and should choose the next cats. I hung up know the client was skeptical and who could blame her? If your 17-year-old cat is walking in circles, it is hard to believe it is not her time.

Three weeks later, Ginger’s owner called to say Ginger was her Christmas miracle. She recovered and spent the next seven months as an extrovert, sitting amongst the family in thanks for all the

Those of us who value spirituality make sure we dedicate time and energy to this part of our lives. It can feel challenging to balance this with the rest of our lives - juggling schedules, family, work demands, all the things which govern our daily lives can sometimes feel us leaving like something has got to give. We can’t do it all, so we have to make some choices.

When your daily list includes caring for other people, the choices are less easy. Caregivers don’t have the option of putting this part of their task list off until next Tuesday. Someone is waiting, and those needs are real. Health and quality of life are at stake, and you are responsible.

So you choose what gets shaved down or even taken off your task list. Is it your meditation or spiritual practice time? Your daily writing time? Exercise?

Sonia GordonThe Nightingale WayFoundation for an Undivided Life

What happens is we begin to divide our time into chunks. It may be into hours or even minutes. I have created daily calendars when I scheduled my time into 15 minute blocks so I could fit as much as I could into the time I had. When the time was up, I would stop what I was doing and go to the next thing. Was it productive? Sometimes. Was I happy about it? Not really.

I was living my life in blocks of time, in increments. Being stressed about watching the clock motivated me to get things done, yes. However, being stressed about watching the clock didn’t make me a nice person.

“Sorry, mom,” I would say, “I need to hang up the phone now. I have many other things I’m trying to get done today.” “Sorry, I can’t meet you for breakfast; my calendar is packed.” “Sorry, I’m not going to yoga class. I need to get something else done.”

I was spending a lot of time apologizing and saying “no” and it wasn’t great for building relationships. I was resentful because I wanted to go to yoga, enjoy my kids, and have quality time with my mom.

As I tried to juggle everything, I became more stressed – not the person I was trying to be. If I remembered correctly, when I woke up this morning, I wanted to live a spiritual life. The day was not going in the direction I wanted to live.

When we live our lives in blocks of time, in increments, we become divided. There is a continuing cutting off of one energy, whether it’s a phone call, a visit, or time in spiritual practice. Then, we flip on the energy again as we begin our next task. On. Off. On. Off. There is no continuity.

It isn’t anything we can keep up for an extended time.

Much like a car, we get better mileage when we are on a continuous highway instead of stopping and starting at the multiple traffic lights of our daily lives.

How can you do this?

Begin with an attitude of integration. Set the intention of what you want the undercurrent of your life to be. It could be peacefulness or joy or something else – whatever you want as the foundation of how you show up in the world. Use this as your approach for every situation, every task. Look for opportunities to integrate this feeling or emotion into each interaction.

As you begin and end each task, create an affirmation, even a word you say to yourself. Start joining the aspects of your life with this common thread.

This article is intended for informational purposes only and is not meant to diagnose or treat any condition or disease.

Dr. Horning'sChiro Corner

What does being holistic mean? It’s meaning has almost become diluted and it’s definition can be misunderstood. According to Webster’s, the definition of Holisitic is the following: relating to or concerned with wholes or with complete systems rather than with the analysis of, treatment of, or dissection into parts.

The true approach to holistic health can be represented in a triangle. With and triangle is one side were to increase the other side must increase as well. Conversely, if one side were to decrease the other two would decrease as well.

According to many founding Chiropractors, it was established that the three sides of the triangle are the following: Structure, Chemical, and Emotional/Spiritual.

Structural would mean the physical aspects of the body. This would include spinal health, sleep, exercise, posture, etc. Chemical would include nutrition, supplements, herbs, medications, water intake, and toxins. Emotional/Spiritual would include the emotional environment, outlook on life, goals, social environment, and spiritual discovery.

When all three are in good shape a person can be said to holistically healthy. When one side is lacking it will affect the individual on the other two sides. This is crucial to understand. Let’s take an example of a car accident. First the person get hurt which affects the structure of his body. Biochemically events occur which alter a person’s regular endocrine system. And emotionally the person get upset or stressed (even if it’s momentarily). All three are effected. Let

us say someone were to get a good amount of sleep and decided to exercise. First that person would get stronger. Biochemically, the body will improve and emotionally the person would feel generally happier. This is a one sided way to improve. It’s recommended to improve on all sides.

A person gets into trouble by developing habits which are contra survival. This can include things like skipping sleep, not getting preventative care, eating junk food, drinking alcohol excessively, watching gossip TV, not exercising, and many others. Help your body first, investing in yourself will make your life better.

The best approach is to improve all three sides. Work out, get sleep, associate with positive like-minded people, eat healthy, get preventative care, stay away from gossip and work on self-improvement. It might not be immediate, but keep it up and soon you will start to see some major improvements in your life. This is what is meant for a holistic lifestyle. Constantly improving all three sides of the holistic triangle.

Chiropractic comes in by a being great natural approach to health. It is also great preventative care. In my office there is a big focus on structure however there is also a big emphasis on nutrition. As for the emotional/spiritual side, my office collaborates with many people and places for spiritual growth. I’m not the only one though, many Chiropractors have this approach. It’s in our blood. I recommend seeing a Chiropractor for at the very least to get on some sort of wellness plan.

What does being "Holistic" Mean?

A second generation Chiropractor and Applied Kinesiologist, Dr. Benjamin Horning grew up in a holistic home. After seeing the power of these modalities, it became apparent what was the best course for him to take. He studied at the University of Maryland and received the unique degree of Agriculture and Resource Economics. The program showed him quickly the politics of our food system. He learned about the natural ways food can be grown and sold, as well as, the cheaper unhealthier ways. This experience shook him due to the openness in his education about the flaws in our food system. His time in Maryland helped him to properly look at nutrition without any political biases. Dr. Horning received his Chiropractic Doctorate at Southern California University of Health Sciences. While at school, he attained a Applied Kinesiology certification and was the school’s club president in the technique. He twice went to Washington, D.C. to fight for Chiropractic Rights in the new healthcare system. He graduated on the Dean’s List and was awarded Cum Laude. After school, he began his private practice and has treated thousands of patients, from professional athletes, veterans, the homeless, special needs patients, pregnancy patients, children, the elderly, entire families, wellness patients, and patients who saw holistic care as a last resort. Dr. Horning has seen it all and confronts each case with a smile. His passion comes from helping people. He is confident something can be done about it. Is It Time to Heal Your Wounded Child Within?

By Rev. Basia Christ, PhD

If you’re alive, you have suffered. We all have.We have all experienced traumatic events, hostile people, loss, strife. Over time, suffering takes its toll on your life - your body, your mind, and your spirit.Sometimes we think our "suffering" is the worst. You may think, "No one has suffered as much as I have." "I hate God." "Will I ever feel happy again?" "I don't want to live another day."Believe me. I can understand your feelings. I have been there, but I have found the "secret to rid your life of suffering."Let me write this again...."I have found the secret to rid your ilfe of suffering."Have you ever heard the story of the person carrying a huge cross meeting someone who invited the person to exchange his cross for that of another. The person gladly accepted the invitation and went to a room where millions of people were - all carrying crosses of their own. The person looked and looked and looked for someone with whom he could exchange his cross, but soon realized his cross was the smallest in comparison to the crosses others had to bear. The person left the room carrying his cross gladly. What happened to change the person's mind?He simply "put his life in perspective." This is exactly what happened to me the day of October 27, 2005 when I attended the Women's Conference hosted by then-First Lady Maria Shriver. It was there I first saw, then met, Trisha Meili, the Central Park Jogger who was raped and beaten - and left for dead by six men

(animals), Mariane Pearl, whose husband, Danny, was kidnapped and beheaded by al-Queda terrorists (animals), Marilyn van Derbur, the 1958 Miss America who admitted in front of hundreds of attendees she was a victim of incest from 5-18 years of age at the hands of her father (animal), and Erin Runnion, mother of 6-year-old Samantha, who was kidnapped, raped, and murdered. As I listened to them, tell their story of not just survival, but rising from the ashes, I realized my cross was minute in comparison. I am not saying that my suffering as a child was nothing; the abuse I experienced was real. What I am saying is I dealt with it as an adult; I healed "my wounded child within" through the interviews I conducted for my book, From Ash to Flame: Women Rising. In September, Spirit told me the book was not the end. My next assignment was to take those Life Lessons and teach them to others so they may also "heal their wounded child within."I learned many years ago, when Spirit speaks, I listen, I act.Beginning on October 5, I started the 26-week program with each class focused on a topic which corresponds the a chapter in the book. Each class is standalone; you can come to one, two, or any class which "piques" your interest. You can review all the topics at http://templeoflightoc.org/healing-wounded-child-within-rev-basia-christ-phd-3.I was almost 60 years old before I finally began confronting my childhood demons thanks to the courageous women in my book.My hope for the New Year is you do not wait this long.
