2015 Laytonsville ES Spring Festival ....How sweet it is!

Help make the festival as sweet as can be!

Each year, the LES Spring Festival is a huge success ONLY because of our VOLUNTEERS. We need more than 100 adults and middle school and high school students to fill one or more

hourly shifts. Please consider helping.

The Festival, Parade and Fun Run are on Saturday, May 16th from 11am-5pm.

Supervise games, crafts, or other activities.

Help sell food, tickets, used books, etc.

Work with the Fun Run team from 12-1pm.

Help set up: Friday, May 15th from 7-9pm and Saturday morning, May 16th from 9-10am.

Help us clean up Saturday 5-6pm.

Please help make this year’s Spring Festival as sweet as can be!

LES Spring Festival 2015 How sweet it is…

LES Spring Festival POSTER CONTEST

The Spring Festival is just around the corner! Here’s your chance to let your sweet imagination run wild, as you create a poster that will be used to advertise the 2015 LES Spring Festival.

Contest Rules:

• Posters must include the following wording:

“LES Spring Festival 2015” “Candyland—How sweet it is” “May 16, 2015, 1:00-5:00 p.m.”

“Parade at 11:00” “Fun Run”

• Poster size can be no larger than 22 x 14. (This is about half the size of the large poster sheets.)

No paint canvases or foam boards, please. • No food products may be used on poster. • Poster must be done by child named on back. Individual entries only, please!! • Place name, grade and teacher on back of poster. • Entries due in main office by noon on FRIDAY, April 17th.

o Late entries may be displayed, but will not be included in judging.

1st, 2nd and 3rd place certificates and prizes will be awarded for each grade. All entries will be reviewed by an impartial judge or group of judges.

2015 Spring Festival Sponsorship Spring Festival Sponsors donate cash to help offset the cost of running the Laytonsville Elementary School Spring Festival. Funds raised by the Spring Festival are used to strengthen programs for current students and help build programs for future classes. Sponsors receive many benefits including acknowledgement on the sponsorship wall at the event, recognition on the LES website, and more! With hundreds of attendees at the festival, your sponsorship helps LES and provides donors high visibility, recognition and exposure.
