Wet vs. DryThese symbols show whether the blade is to be used with or withoutwater.

Wet blades MUST be used with water to cool the blade and prevent blade damage. Using these blades without water is unsafe.

Dry / wet blades may be used without water. Since theseblades are air-cooled, adequate airflow around the blade isimportant. Dry blades may also be used with water to reducedust and heat.

Note about Wet Cutting: Using water as a coolant will allow deeper cutsin a single pass, depending on job conditions.

Note about Dry Cutting: Do not cut more than 1" to 2" deep in a singlepass when dry cutting. If you have to cut deeper, do it with a second orthird pass (called step cutting). Also, allow the blade to cool every 10 to15 seconds by removing it from the cut and allowing it to run free for afew seconds.

Due to a petition filed in 2005, the Department of Commerce isconsidering imposing a tariff on all finished diamond blades, cores andsegments imported from China and Korea. Additional informationconcerning the tariff can be found on the Department of Commercewebsite at www.commerce.gov.

The final tariff amounts were not determined at the time of printingthis price book. Therefore, list prices are not shown on some of ourdiamond blades. Please refer to the enclosed price sheet for currentlist prices. Target will adjust our prices accordingly if the Departmentof Commerce approves the proposed tariff.

TYPES oF EQuIPmENT

The power rating of the engine indicated in this document is the net power output tested on a production engine for the engine model and measured in accordance with SAE j1349 at 3600 rpm. Mass production engines may vary from this value. Actual power output for the engine installed in the final machine will vary depending on numerous factors, including the operating speed of the engine in application, environmental conditions, maintenance and other variables.

2% cash discount is allowed if paid within 10 days of the invoice date. Invoices dated the 1st through the 15th are due on the 10th of the following month. Invoices dated the 16th through the last day of the month are due the 25th of the following month. A service charge of 1-1/2% per month (18% annual) is added to past due amounts.

FREIGHT PoLICY

Equipment - Freight is paid (ground shipment) to one location within Canada by the carrier of shippers choice for two (2) pieces of equipment shipped of reasonable or equal value.

Diamond tools - Freight is prepaid by the shipper and added to the invoice for orders less than $350.00. Freight is paid (ground shipment) to one location within Canada by the carrier of shippers choice for orders of $350.00 or greater.

Abrasive blades - Freight is prepaid by the shipper and added to the invoice for orders less than $595.00. Freight is paid (ground shipment) to one location within Canada by the carrier of shippers choice for orders of $595.00 or greater.

Parts, accessories, displays, misc. items including wire brushes - Freight is prepaid by the shipper and added to the invoice.

Drop shipments - Drop shipments into Provinces other than their primary business location will incur freight charges. Drop shipments to a residence may incur an additional handling charge.

NOTE: Customer requesting priority or air freight shipments will have prepaid freight and handling charges added to the invoice. Freight terms apply for shipments within Canada.

Freight Claims - Husqvarna utilizes heavy-duty packaging designed to protect its products under normal shipping conditions. If, despite our precautions, product is received in damaged condition, the consignee (customer) should immediately upon receipt, file a claim with the delivering freight carrier. If further assistance is required, contact the Husqvarna Customer Service Department at 800-461-9589.

GoLD mEDaL EQuIPmENT WaRRaNTY New equipment sold by Husqvarna is warranted to be free from manufacturing defects in normal service for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase by the original consumer purchaser. Component manufacturers offer separate warranty periods. Call Technical Services at800-461-9589 for complete information.

Husqvarnas obligation under this warranty is expressly limited to the replacement or repair at Husqvarna Construction Products, or at a service facility designated by us, of such part or parts as inspection shall disclose to have been defective. This warranty does not apply to defects caused by damage, unreasonable use, faulty repairs made by others or defects caused by failure to provide reasonable maintenance, while in the possession of the consumer. Further, the warranty is void if the product, or any of its components, is altered or modified by the consumer or if the product is used in an inappropriate manner or with a blade not recommended by the manufacturer.

Husqvarna offers a 1-year warranty on all products including Soff-Cut Ultra Early EntryTM saws with the following exceptions:

TRIaL PoLICYPurchase orders are requested and full payment is expected on all trial materials. Trials will be invoiced on the basis of normal ordering quantity that the customer is expected to purchase if the trial is successful. Order must specify the exact number normally purchased and be invoiced on that basis. Trials proving only partially satisfactory, but usable, will be credited on the basis of the value received. Trials proving completely unsatisfactory receive full credit. The efficiency of the trial performance is the decision of the customer.

LaSER WELD bLaDE / bIT WaRRaNTY

If the laser weld or diffusion bond between the segment and the core or barrel fails during the normal useful life of the blade or bit, the blade or bit will be repaired at NO CHARGE or if not repairable, replaced at NO CHARGE. This is at the discretion oh Husqvarna Construction Products.

bRazED bLaDE / bIT WaRRaNTY

If the brazed bond between the segment and the core or barrel fails within the first .050" of segment wear, the blade or bit will be repaired or replaced FREE OF CHARGE.

CoNTINuouS RIm bLaDE WaRRaNTY

If the bond between the diamond rim and core fails during the normal useful life of the blade, the blade will be replaced FREE OF CHARGE.

These warranties do not cover abuse to, or misapplication of, the blade or bit. Our obligation under this warranty is expressly limited to the replacement or repair at a Husqvarna facility in North Bay, Ontario or at a service facility designated by us, of such part or parts as inspection shall disclose to have been defective.

RETuRN GooDS PoLICY

Prior to return of merchandise, a return authorization number must be assigned by a Husqvarna Customer Service Representative. Returns are subject to a 15% restocking charge. Merchandise returned must be freight-prepaid by the customer and in resalable condition. Special order product cannot be accepted for return.

Range overview.The complete range of Husqvarna flat saws consists of 12 models with cutting depth from 4" (125 mm) in to 25" (635 mm), powered by engines from 5.63 hp gas to 83 hp diesel, weighing from 119 lb to 2392 lb. All our flat saws provide class-leading power and torque at the bladeshaft, which means greater productivity when deep sawing. Here you can easily find the flat saw that provides you with the highest production rate.

ERGONOMIC The handlebars are adjustable to suit every operators preference, while the layout of the controls allows for intuitive operation. All saws are developed to be highly maneuverable with low vibrations ultimately reducing user fatigue.

LOW MAINTENANCE Most Husqvarna flat saws feature the patented IntelliSeal blade shaft system. It allows a minimum of up to 500 maintenance-free hours without daily greasing of bearings.
