signaled by the starter, as long as they are behind the starting line. This means the player must run outside and around the cone.

• Once the person is on top of the pyramid, the pyramid must be set and stable for five seconds with all hands and knees stable before dismantling as determined by an official.

• The judges will then signal for the team to dismantle the pyramid. • Every official will have a stopwatch to time the person on the top of the pyramid. • If the team has a false start for one heat, the other heat can be used to count for points.

ATTEMPTS:

• Each team will be timed by a judge. • Each team will get two attempts called heats. The better of the two times will be taken. • Each team will run the pyramid with other chapters at the same time, and will have two

attempts. • If the pyramid falls, the team can rebuild the pyramid from where they are, but their time

will continue. • If the 10th teammate does not run outside of the cone it will be an automatic

disqualification.

GREEK WEEK 2015 Point System

(Overview of how the points will be awarded throughout the events of Greek Week)

Greek Week Merchandise Points:

For each individual chapter member who purchases a merchandise package, points will be added

to your team’s overall score based upon the percentage of your chapter that purchases packages.

The “Everything” Package is worth 5 points, “Texas” package is worth 3 points, and the

“Greek Week” Package is worth 1 point going to your group depending on which is purchased.

Points will be added by the percentage of your chapter who purchases each package level by

percentage 10% = 1, 20% = 2, 30% = 3, etc. (Example = 10% of chapter members purchase

“Everything” package - 5 X 1 = 5 points or 20% of chapter members purchase

“Everything” package – 5 X 2 = 10 points. If 10% of chapter members purchase

“Everything” package – 5 X 1 = 5 points and 30% of chapter members purchase “Texas”

package – 3 X 3 = 9 points the chapter would earn a total of 14 additional points to their

overall Greek Week score.

Blood Drive: For each individual chapter member who donates blood (or attempts to but is declined) the chapter will be awarded 25 points. Profit Share Benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital: For each individual chapter member who attends the profit share and purchases a meal, their team will be awarded 5 points. If 15% or more of the chapter attends the profit share and purchases food, then the points will be doubled for the event. Canned Food Drive: 1 point will be awarded to the chapter for every item donated. For every 50 items, an extra 10 points will be added
