The Normal CornBelters are a professional baseball team in the independent Frontier League. From mid-May through early September we play roughly 51 regular season games at home here at the Corn Crib in Normal, Illinois. We pride ourselves on offering affordable, family, fun entertainment in a clean safe environment.

The Frontier League includes 14 teams and is comprised of athletes between The Frontier League includes 14 teams and is comprised of athletes between the ages of 21 and 30 with a wide range of experience. 2014 was quite the success for the Normal CornBelters on the field! We finished 48-47 to set the franchise record for wins and the first winning season in CornBeltershistory! We also had three players’ contracts purchased by Major League Baseball organizations including the Atlanta Braves, Miami Marlins, andSan Diego Padres.

While presenting competitive baseball is a priority for our oWhile presenting competitive baseball is a priority for our organization, we also strive to entertain everyone at the ballpark, even those who may notnecessarily be baseball fans. Not only will you see get to see some great baseball but, it is not uncommon to witness vegetables racing across the field, two sumo wrestlers duking it out between innings, fireworks after the game or even a fantastic giveaway item!

OOff the field, the CornBelters had a successful season as well. Ticket sales increased for the second season in a row as did our per-game attendance! This year we hosted two big concerts at the Corn Crib! On June 20th, Gary Allan and Jamey Johnson took the stage. September 20th saw one of the largest concerts in Central Illinois history as Tim McGraw, Jana Kramer and Dakota Bradley put on an unforgettable concert!

WWe are proud to call the Corn Crib home and it is truly becoming “home” to many community events! The stadium is home to Heartland Community College baseball, softball and men’s and women’s soccer. Also, from 2011- 2015 it is home of the IHSA Class 1A Boys Soccer State Finals. The Corn Crib is also host to numerous charitable fundraisers, movie nights, company picnics and not to mention off-season CornBelters events!

TTo date, more than 614,000 fans from throughout Central Illinois have been to a Normal CornBelters game and many move have visited the Corn Crib for our extra events! We look forward to continued growth during our 6th season in Normal! We have established ourselves as the premier choice for affordable, family, fun entertainment in Central Illinois and look forward to building on that reputation for years to come!
