2014 IHWY changes
In May 2012 the IHWY trial was setup using a direct selling industry model from a well known direct selling company.
This was seen as a good place to start In Harmony With You. We knew that changes to the model would be likely as Weleda is a very different company!
After the 1 year review the data gathered was analysed and input taken from all major stakeholders including the current Advisors at the time.
Changes have now been agreed to our model which will be implemented from 1st January 2014. These aim to:
Simplify operations, easier to understand, improved benefits and promotions, improve efficiency and the level of service given to our Wellbeing Advisor community.
History
1.Wellbeing Advisors will be paid retrospectively on monthly basis on or around the 10th working day of the month
Advisors will take payment of the full rrp from their customers and pay the full rrp to Weleda when placing the order.
The Advisor will then be paid their commission based on their monthly sales by direct bank transfer after the month end run.
This will remove the requirement for credits.

2. Hostess Gifts are now free of charge to Advisors
When the order is over £150 it will be eligible for 15% of the order total in Free Products. These will now be free of charge to Advisors, instead of 25% rrp.
In conjunction with change 1 this allows a simple, relative cheap online ordering system to be implemented in 2014.

3. Free postage qualification
This remains the same for 1:1 orders at £40.
It has been increased slightly to £150 for an Event order to bring in-line with Hostess Gift qualification and to make it affordable to give Hostess Gifts for free.

4. Brochures will be free of charge to Advisors
A brochure will be produced quarterly and will contain all products available to Advisors to order. Plus the Weleda Xmas Gift guide in October.
It will also contain a leaflet containing all Customer and Hostess promotions available for that quarter.
Expected to be approx. 100 brochures per quarter available to Advisors. This may vary and they will be sent automatically, with ability to order more.

5. Weleda bags will be provided free of charge to Advisors
One bag per customer order will be provided free of charge as part of the delivery of the order. Advisors will be asked each order for the quantity required. 1 per customer.
6. Sachets will be provided free of charge to all Advisors that sell over a certain amount in the previous calendar month.
These will be sent automatically at the start of every month to all Advisors that reach the qualification criteria. The qualification criteria and type of sachets may vary from month to month. The sachets will still be available to buy at an increased price of £3.00 per pack.

7. Public Liability remains the same as now
£30 per annum for a full year or £15 for half a year (July to Dec)
Every current Advisor that has taken Weleda Insurance needs to pay £30 by end Jan 2014.Every Advisor that uses their own insurance needs to provide an updated copy each year.

Better rewards for Hostesses are being put in place to encourage more Wellbeing Event bookings
1. Hostesses will be able to use the full amount and pay the difference
This means that no hostess gift allowance will be lost.
2. An increased list of products will be available as Hostess Gifts
Product ranges that cant be included are: GSL Medicines, Baby and Mummy to be Products, Bath Milks, Deodorants and Toothpastes, accessories and all promotions and offers.
Now included are: Body Washes, Haircare, Juices/Elixirs, Gifts

3. Hostess orders are non-commissionableAdvisors will not earn commission on the hostess order and neither will the hostess. E.g. The 15% hostess gift commission will not include anything the hostess orders herself.
4. Hostess ExclusivesThese are now free to Hostesses and one is allowed per Event order if the Event order is over £150. Same level as Free postage and Hostess Gifts.
5. Customer Thank You Gifts The Customer thank you gift spend threshold will change from quarter to quarter. Either two available £40 and £60 spend or just one at £45 or £50 spend depending on the month and general spending levels. Only one customer Thank You gift allowed per customer. However if someone spends £100 then they are eligible for the £40 gift and the £60 gift.
