TRAINING CAMP NOTES Camp Roster • The Senators 2014-15 camp roster includes 57 players: Five goaltenders, 19 defenceman and 33 forwards. • Seventeen (17) players participated in the 2014 rookie camp and tournament in Ottawa and London, Ont. • The list of camp invitees is built primarily around the Senators’ draft. Twenty-eight (28) players were selected by

Ottawa in NHL drafts, 11 players were signed as free agents, 10 players were obtained in trades, seven players are on professional tryouts and one player is on an amateur tryouts.

• The Senators 2013-14 season training camp roster also included 57 players: Seven goaltenders, 17 defencemen and 33 forwards. The list of camp invitees was built primarily around the Senators draft. Thirty-five (35) players were selected by Ottawa in NHL drafts, 12 players were free agent signings, seven were acquired via trade and three were on professional tryout agreements with the club.

Rookie Tournament • The Senators participated in their 14th rookie camp and tournament from Sept. 12-15. This year’s tournament was

held in London, Ont., with the Chicago Blackhawks, Pittsburgh Penguins and Toronto Maple Leafs also participating. • The Senators tied for the tournament lead by finishing with a 2-1-0 record: A 4-3 loss to Pittsburgh in the tournament’s

GOALTENDERS 41 – CRAIG ANDERSON, Goaltender – Catches: Left – Size: 6-2, 184 lbs. – Born: May 21, 1981 (Park Ridge, Ill.) 2013-14 Team: Ottawa (NHL) – Draft: 2001 - Chicago’s third-round pick (73rd overall) – Acquired: Traded from Colorado in exchange for Brian Elliott on 2/18/11. 2013-14: Made his regular season debut in earning his ninth shutout victory (35 saves) as a Senator on Oct. 4 at Buffalo (1-0 win) … Made a season high (later surpassed) 40 saves in helping Ottawa to a victory in its home opener on Oct. 17 vs. New Jersey (5-2 win) … Earned the 25th shutout victory (34 saves) of his NHL career on Jan. 21 at Washington (2-0 win) … Moved into sole possession of second place among all-time Senators goaltenders with his 73rd win for the club on Jan. 28 at Columbus (3-2 win) … Earned the victory in goal (29 saves) as Ottawa defeated Vancouver 4-2 in the 2014 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic on March 2 at BC Place … Matched a season high (reached three times) with 46 saves on March 8 at Winnipeg (5-3 win) … Moved into sole possession of third place among all-time Ottawa netminders with his 12th shutout victory on April 12 vs. Toronto (1-0 win) … Sustained a neck injury on Nov. 3 vs. Dallas (4-3 SO loss) and missed the following two regular-season games.
