Annually, in the month of July, the National Nutrition Council (NNC) leads the whole

sector, ci-il society or!ani.ations and communities contribute in addressin! issues and ad-ocatefor stron!er olitical action and hun!er#

/n suort of this de-elomental endea-or of the nutrition community to be searheaded

 by the NNC, the eartment of ducation (ed) enoins all schools to articiate in thiscelebration by undertain! meanin!ful acti-ities which will hi!hli!ht the imortance of !ood

health and nutrition#

/n comliance, uyon! bonbon lementary &chool which is headed by Mrs# Niele 4#&abornido and her e-er suorti-e Nutrition Coordinator to!ether with the other teachers

conducted a half day ro!ram last July 31,, 2013, ednesday, at 1500 6#M# to broaden the

nowled!e of the arents about the health benefits of !ood nutrition throu!h cooin! contest andwith the hel of the two amon! nowled!eable and well'e7erienced ud!es when it comes to

cuisine# e also or!ani.ed a mini maret# 6arents brou!ht -e!etables and fruits to be dislayed

for the arents and children to buy#

e also articiated in the municial cooin! contest sonsored by the Municial 8ealth9ffice of 9ol# e ha-e : %rade ; articiants for the said contest and we !arnered the first
