The Bank Operations Institute (BOI) leads the fi eld in preparing community bankers for banking in the 21st Century. Guided by the industry’s top regulators and educators, BOI builds its program around moving operations offi cers from the back room to the boardroom. Here the emphasis is on practical, real-world issues and solutions. BOI takes students through the nuts and bolts of operations to a new level of strategic thinking and presentation.

This is a two year program that provides the practical management and leadership techniques necessary for successful community bank operations. The dynamic curriculum is monitored by regulators and bankers and offers strategic insight into both the present and future of banking technology, processes, and project management.

Students from a multi-state area attend BOI for one week each fall for two years. The program is taught by noted regulators, bankers, educators, and professionals with an emphasis on the practical skills needed for effective and profi table operational management.
