Work independently in the studio during center hours. Enjoy fellowship while you work on your projects. Large selection of green-ware, bisque and paint available for purchase. Instruction available.

FEE: $35/ 90 days

Membership is available for anyone who has completed a class at the Denson Drive Center. Members may visit the center during operating hours to work on projects, buy clay tools and use the equipment. The staff is there to assist when not teacing classes. Scheduled classes have priorities over wheels and slab roller. First time membership includes a t-shirt.

FEE: $80/ 90 days

Wheel throwing pottery class includes basic techniques of wheel throwing and one-on-one instruction. Clay, glazes and firing are included in class fee. Tools are provided for class use.

Runners and walkers are welcome at any fitness level. The 5k course is measured and marked, and it is located in residential low traffic neighborhoods. Water and Gatorade provided for runners and walkers. There will also be hamburgers, hotdogs, sandwiches and drinks across the street at the Summer Swing Concerts, provided by the Opelika Band Boosters for a nominal price.Finish times are posted on AORTA’s web site so you can track your progress over the summer.
