This course is for students who have never used a potters wheel or for those who are continuing to build basic skills. We will explore basic wheel-throwing goals such as: centering clay, establishing floors, pulling walls and shaping/trimming/glazing wares. Two options for class times.

UNDER WATER EGG HUNT

CARDBOARD BOAT RACE

Build your own cardboard boat and sail it across the SportsPlex Pool for some great family fun. Anyone can join families, business, schools, groups or churches. Boat and contest information can be picked up at the SportsPlex or online.

SportsOPELIKA CRUSH

SOCCERCrush is Opelika’s Club level soccer program for players that want competition level soccer. Practices will be two times per week with games on weekends. Travel will be required. Games will be at home as well as in Montgomery and Birmingham. The club will compete in at least one tournament.

Egg Hunters of all abilities will have the opportunity to collect weighted eggs from the bottom of the pool and receive treats for their efforts! The Underwater Egg Hunt will occur in varying depths of water to allow participation by all swimming levels. The eggs are recycled back into the pool after each age group. Thank you for your support to ensure no eggs are thrown back into the pool by non-staff members.

Important Drop-In Information:In an effort to provide quality and fun activities in a safe, adult-led environment, it will now be mandatory for all parents or legal guardians to register their young person for their first

Friday Night Drop-In (includes Covington and the Sportsplex). Any young person dropped off without a parent or legal guardian registering them will not be allowed to stay on the

premises.

There is a need of 10 adults per night at the Sportsplex’s Friday Night Drop-In and three adults at Covington’s Fun Night Drop-In. There will be a volunteer calendar at each Drop-In

for parents and legal guardians to sign-up to chaperone. You will be called during the week of your commitment as a reminder.

It is necessary that the minimum number of parent chaperones be met before noon on Thurs-day to have a Drop-In the next night. Friday Night Drop-In will be cancelled any week that the

minimum number of chaperones is not met.

Led by the Easter Bunny, the Easter Egg and the Easter Chicken.All participants must be accompanied by an adult.
