    Introduction Four claims were staked for copper and gold showings at the Harbour Mille Property on the Burin Peninsula, Newfoundland under License No. 018813M. This compilation summary report resulted from review and investigation of historical data and recent assessments available through the NL, Dept. of Natural Resources Mineral Lands Division.

    Location and Access The Harbour Mille Property is located adjacent to Fortune Bay, southern Newfoundland on NTS sheet 01M/10. The nearby community of Harbour Mille is accessible by paved road west of Route 210, which serves the Burin Peninsula. The landscape is typical of upland portions of southern Newfoundland. The property features rolling to rugged topography with maximum relief of approximately 100 metres and an approximate elevation of 200 metres. Exposure is excellent along the coast but moderate inland except for the highest hills. Vegetation consists of low-lying thick spruce with small, forested areas in sheltered valleys with most of the ground cover being low shrubs and moss.

    Previous Work Geological mapping in this area has been conducted by Bradley 91962), and O’Brien and Nunn (1984). SEREM Ltd. explored the claim area for base metal mineralization in 1972 and 1973. They conducted reconnaissance geological mapping, prospecting, rock sampling and reconnaissance stream silt geochemistry. Minor copper mineralization was noted on the peninsula north of Bay L’Argent, (Schrijver, 1973). The most recent assessment work was completed in 2002 by Butler and Churchill for Altius Resources Inc.. Reference Gelogical Survey No: 001M/10/0432.

    Regional Geology The Harbour Mille Property lies along the western side of the Burin Peninsula in southern NFLD. The Burin Peninsula represents a broad, regional flexured anticlinorium cored by variably deformed subaerial volcanic and consanguineous plutonic rocks. The Neoprterozoic volcano-plutonic core of the peninsula is represented by 590-565 Ma Marystown Group is flanked to the east by upward-shoaling marine sedimentary rocks of the Connecting Point and Musgravetown Groups (~620 Ma and younger). In the Fortune Bay area, the long Harbour Group (570-545 Ma) overlies the Marystown Group and is characterized as a thick succession of dominantly felic rocks of alkaline to peralkaline affinity. These rocks pass conformably upward. Through formations of shallow marine , subaerial volcanic and terrestrial sedimentary rocks into fossil-bearing Cambrian siltstone and shale. The Precambrian and early Paleozoic succession was deformed and weakly metamorphosed during the Acadian Orogeny. These are also intruded by several late Precambrian pre-tectonic granite and diorite and post-tectonic granite. Carboniferous sedimentary rocks overlie the Long Harbour group along an angular unconformity. The oldest rocks exposed in the area are presumed to be felsic volcanic, basaltic and sedimentary rocks of the Belle Bay Formation, which forms the base of the Long Harbour Group. Peralkaline granite and alkaline gabbro of the Cross Hills Putonic Suite, from which an Rb- Sr age of 560 Ma has been reported , intrude the Belle Bay aand Mooring Cove Formations. The Mooring Cove Formation is considered to be the volcanic equivalent to the Cross Hills Plutonic Suite. The Cross Hills Plutonic Suite was intruded at a high crustal level in a northewest-southwest extensional tectonic regime characteristic of the Late Neoproterozoic in the Avalon Zone. Textural data indicate that the granitic magmas solidified or were quenched, due to loss of vapor pressure. This is supported by the presence of narrow but wide spread tuffisite veins and breccia zones exhibiting a hematitic matrix, commonly enriched in Rare Earth Elements (REE’s). Minor occurrences of Zr-Nb-Y-Th-REE mineralization occurs in aplite veins and fractures in the peralkaline granite of the Cross Hills Plutonic Suite and may present a setting similar to that found of major Zr-Nb-Y-REE deposits in Saudi Arabia (abstract from Tuach. 1991). The Ackley Granite intrudes the Belle Bay Formation to the north. The Ackley Granite is Devonian in age, consists of medium to coarse-grained orange equigranular biotite granite and hosts Sn, W, Mo and F mineralization along its southern margin.

    Property Geology The Harbour Mille Property is primarily underlain in the north by volcanic and volcaniclastic rocks of the Southern Hill Facies of the Lower Cove Group. Clastic sedimentary rocks of the Anderson Cove Formation overlie these in the south part of the property, including Little Harbour East and harbour Mille. Rocks have been affected by lower greenschist facies metamorphism. The following unit descriptions are from O’Brien at. al. 1984): Anderson’s Cove Formation:

    Undifferentiated gray, green and minor red, fine to coarse-grained sandstone with granule to local boulder conglomerate; cobble and boulder conglomerate; pebble conglomerate, laminated siltstone and minor sandstone, mature sandstone, black slate, mafic sills and flows; and red sandstone. Love Cove Group (Southern Hills Facies):

    Undifferentiated, predominantly unwelded, tuffaceous volcanic rocks;rhyolite flows, variably welded ash-flow tuffs and associated pyroclastic rocks; epiclastic volcanic and clastic sedimentary rocks; mafic sills and flows; dark gray tuff and associated epiclastic rocks. A small outcrop of rare, well cleaved, probable felsic volcanic rock was noted approximately 300 metres east of Harbour Mille. It is beige-cream in color and features small lithophysae . Minor copper stain was noted. Whole rock analysis confirmed a felsic composition. Structure:

    The units are disposed within the broad, moderately southwest plunging East Bay Syncline. The axis of the syncline passes just north of the community of Harbour Mille. Sedimentary units exhibit poorly to moderate cleavage development in sandstone and siltstone, respectively. Bedding is generally moderately dipping and upright. Cleavage is generally steeply dipping to the northwest. Regional folding is probably related to the Acadian Orogeny (Devonian). The earliest cleavage is axial planar and is affected by a subsequent deformation event manifesting as small kink-folds. Faults were noted but do not appear to be significant. Those observed consist of steeply dipping gouge zones and fracturing with only minor displacements noted. Along the shoreline north of Harbour Mille, abrupt changes in grain size of clastic rocks were noted across some faults. Though reactivated, these may be ancestral syn-sedimentary faults. Mineral Occurrences:

    Minor quartz (+/- barite) veins were noted but rarely contain sulphide mineralization even where cross-cutting mineralized units.

    In a road cut approximately 1 kilometre east of the community of Little Bay East, minor, apparently stratabound disseminated pyrite mineralization was noted in green to grey sandstone and litharenite clastic rocks. However, no copper mineralization was observed. Mineralization in the form of pyrite and chalcocite was noted to occur in certain grey and green sedimentary units on the Harbour Mille Peninsula. The best exposures of copper mineralization is located at the shoreline on the northwest side of the Peninsula northeast of Harbour Mille and are coined the Turpin Showing. The host rock ranges from green sandstone featuring lime green delicate rip-up clasts and conspicuous small calcareous patches to polylithic pebble conglomerate largely composed of mafic volcanic detritus and salmon colored rhyolite clasts. Similar mineralized outcrops were found at a showing called Alex’s Bluff located at the top of the cliff in this area. The host rock in this area is polylithic pebble conglomerate and coarse sandstone. Notably, no copper stain or gossan indicates the presence of copper mineralization. Similar, minor copper mineralization was noted in the roadcut directly east of Harbour Mille. Pyrite often cores larger chalcocite grains indicating incomplete replacement. No zonation in sulfide mineralogy was apparent between mineralized outcrops.

    Previous Exploration & Current Summary In 2001 reconnaissance prospecting was conducted on the property, particularly along roads and shorelines where exposure was best. The 2002 assessment report 001M/10/0432 by Butler and Churchill for Altius Resources Inc. provided analytical certificates for samples taken from variable mineralized outcrops. Many of the samples were obtained outside of the area of the mineralized licenses. These were collected to test the mineral potential of prospective stratigraphy along strike from sites of known mineralization encompassed by the licensed property. Grab samples of well-mineralized outcrop on the Harbour Mille property at both the Turpin Showing and Alex’s Bluff returned reproducible, highest average assays of approximately 2.0% Copper. Silver values rarely exceed 2 g/t and cobalt values are not significantly anomalous. Extensive research, study and investigation were carried out on the Harbour Mille property. The review also included the property’s exploration history, local geology and data from the Mineral Occurrence Data System (MODS). The most recent assessment reports are also referenced in this summary report.

    Conclusions and Recommendations The Harbour Mille Property is prospective for Sediment-Hosted Stratiform Copper mineralization as evidenced by the Turpin Showing located near Harbour Mille. Notably, red clastic rocks are exposed at Harbour Mille and weakly hematitic volcanic rocks are exposed at Cape Mille. A thick section grey-green, marine clastic rock assigned to the Anderson’s Cove Formation occurs between these oxidized units and underlies much of the Harbour Mille Peninsula. Of particular significance, known copper mineralization appears to be confined to an horizon near the top of this section.

    More significantly examples of this style of mineralization may exist on the property and remain a viable exploration target. Suggestions for further work include stream silt geochemical surveys, and detailed prospecting. Ground magnetic and VLF-EM surveys over major fault zones and areas of anomalous geochemistry might also be useful. Respectfully Submitted; April 21, 2012
