Golden Acres Genetics Performance Test & Harvest Report

Texas/Oklahoma Panhandle & New Mexico

Each year, Golden Acres Genetics, Ltd. coordinates a corn and grain sorghum variety testing program to ensure product performance. Our tests are conducted at a variety of locations with varied soil types, moisture availability, herbicides, insecticides and farming practices. The results of these tests are an opportunity for corn and grain sorghum producers to make more informed decisions about the selection of varieties for their area. Golden Acres would like to thank each cooperator for their help and hard work. Without them, none of this would have been possible.

James Baxter has been with Golden Acres Genetics

since 2006. His agronomic experiences include being a

farm services manager and district sales manager for

Monsanto. In addition, he has been a marketing

manager for Agrigenetics. James brings 24+ years of

agricultural experience in the West Texas and New

Mexico geography.

James is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a degree in Agricultural Education. He and his

wife, Cindy, currently live in Amarillo, Texas.
