Get Caught Shopping and Dining in Midwest City The Midwest City Chamber of Commerce held a “Get Caught Shopping and Dining in Midwest City” campaign from July 6-18, 2009. Random shoppers and diners “caught” exiting area businesses were given a chance to win up to $100.00 in cash as a thank you for shopping and dining in Midwest City. Participating busi-nesses also supplemented the program by of-fering special incentives and coupons inside their stores during the promotion. Our hope is that this campaign encouraged patrons both within and outside the Midwest City area to take advantage of the many opportunities af-forded by our great community while stimulat-ing our local economy.

New Member Drive

It’s HOT!

Cited in a survey commissioned by the American Chamber of Commerce Executives “When consumers know that a small business is a member of the Chamber, they are 44 percent more likely to think favorably of it and 63 percent more likely to purchase goods or services from the company." With that in mind, and in an effort to maintain and grow our level of visibility in the community, the Chamber will host a New Member Drive the week of AUGUST 24-28, 2009. Volunteers will make calls to potential Chamber members. Your help is critical to the success of the drive. If you know of an individual or company who would benefit from the many opportunities available through Chamber membership, or to volunteer, please call Jennifer at 733-3801.
